Description: The Ganzfeld effect (from German for "complete field"), or perceptual deprivation, is a phenomenon of perception caused by exposure to an unstructured, uniform stimulation field. The effect is the result of the brain amplifying neural noise in order to look for the missing visual signals. The noise is interpreted in the higher visual cortex, and gives rise to hallucinations.

EKATA is a London based DJ/Producer + Natural Selection Resident who's productions are characterised by their dark and atmospheric soundscapes, driven by pulsating rhythms and intricate synth work.

Determined to create music that is unearthly, idiosyncratic and exuding futurism of that of a sci-fi film, she has a vision and always ensures a story is to be told in each track she produces.
She mainly sticks to the dark and eerie side of Electro/Techno in her productions & gigs, where she will take you on a dark and twisted journey through incredibly dystopian, ominous grooves and obvious sci-fi fixations which embody her carefully picked selections. 

She has had an unstoppable start to her production journey, releasing on some of the best Electro labels out there; Burial Soil . CHP Recordings . Censor . Cybersoul . Furatena . Mars Frequency Records . Native Boundaries + Urban Connections with more releases scheduled for 2024. Her latest track "KILONOVA" will be out on Avoidant on 1st March 2024

Originally from Paris, SOD-90 started producing alongside his studies as a flutist at the renewed university of classical music from Berlin. Combining his knowledge from a wide range of musical backgrounds with his experience as a professional instrumentalist, he crafted an intense sound, characterised by noisy textures, scorching synth lines, with distorted drums and twisted vocals. All this added to complex and dynamic arrangements.

After only a few years since he started producing, SOD-90 has already been supported by some of the biggest names on the scene and has released on Avoidant, Bipolar Disorder records, Emotional Voyage, with more in the pipeline very soon. He intends to continue exploring creative approaches to production, aiming to evolve his style towards an increasingly powerful and unconventional aesthetic.

Born and raised in China until 2002, Coco Cobra is a German-based DJ that’s rapidly made a name for herself in the post-pandemic landscapes of modern-day clubbing. Predominately exposed to mainstream, Chinese pop ballads in her youth, the artist’s musical journey took a turn upon moving to Hanover where her newfound surroundings lead to the discovery of an entirely new spectrum of music.

With a vast intake of punk rock, heavy synth and electro revelations ultimately leading to a love for the UK rave, jungle, heavy breaks, and explosive, high energy sounds of her sets today - Coco Cobra now yields a killer taste in radical club music.

Coco Cobra has since gone on to establish herself as a DJ critical to local scenes and international lineups, featuring in Herrensauna and International Chrome showcases, to Finest Fridays at Panorama Bar in Berlin.

As a co-founder of soft spot - a queer-centered collective based out of Hanover - Coco Cobra is motivated by a desire to push boundaries, create safer spaces and reshape local dancefloors. A testament to the transformative power of music, collective action and the growth of diverse and inclusive platforms.
