Have a great Sunday everyone ! I'm very happy to record and share the morning Dj set that I played at Eclipse Festival in the summer of 2022. I know its a bit late but I always had it on my mind to upload it and bring back memories from this very special day. Thanks Rekordbox for saving the tracks playlist created in those moments and making me able to do this all over again :D  It was such an incredible time playing and welcoming the last day of the festival. That morning dancefloor energy was amazing!

Vortex 'Open Source 2018' DJ Mix

Born in 1982 in Moscow, Russia. From childhood his passion was only one thing – the music. Even at school Sergei was constantly involved in all activities related to music and partying.
In 1995 Radio 106.8 was established in Moscow — the first radio station exclusively dedicated to electronic music. At this point Sergei got acquiainted with the universe of electronic music. In 1999 he went to a goa trance party, first in his life, where he decided to devote his life to trance music. He began gathering his own music collection, took part in different events and raves. In February 2004 came a turning point – friends aware of his large collection of trance music, invited him to to play at a private party, after which he understood where he wanted to be all the time. He began his career as a DJ.
In 2005 he was invited to take part in the first Russian psy trance label TranceXplorer Rec .. And from that moment his musical preferences were a psy progressive trance.After that, he began to play in large and private events all over Moscow, in many cities of Russia. In 2008 he became a member of the Moscow promo group Dreams Catchers and they did their first party Swiss Spaceport with talented musicians from Switzerland – Sensual Squeak & Tandem as guests.
In 2009 Sergei invited to the parties such projects as Symphonix, Maelstorm, Atmos, Kuba, Zyce, Flegma, Ectima and that summer took part in Trakia Psyfriends Festival in Bulgaria and Nautica Festival in Russia. In the period from 2009-2012, Sergei played on the same stage with such artists as Andromeda, Braincell, Solar Spectrum, Talpa, Shulman, Juno Reactor, Headroom, Eskimo, John Phantasm, Ticon, Trold, Yahel, E-Clip, Nerso, Vertex, Gaudium, The Riddler, Protonica. In the summer of 2012 he joined TesseracTstudio label.
