I think it's a nice mix between our two styles, with many melodic and cinematic soundscapes supported by powerful psychedelic leads, and we have been playing this track in all our recent sets and everytime the energy on the dancefloor was amazing !

Killerwatts, the collaboration project between Avalon and Tristan, has already seen two albums and two remix albums, plus a number of massive singles and collaborations with the biggest acts in Psytrance, placing them as one of the most requested and loved acts on the global psychedelic scene.

Neurorythmic aka Josh Barr has been crafting his own blend of funky, mind-elevating psytrance in NSW, Australia over the past few years and is constantly evolving his sound. He has had previous releases with Adapted Records and Inner Lotus Records and most recently he also started a glitch/dub project, 'Hifibration', with a release coming soon on Twisted Lotus Records. This is all a sign of a man with music on the mind and we're very happy to be helping him get some of it out and into the world!

Featuring remixes of fellow Kinematic producers Disect, Dirtron, Formationz and Gumnut, Jump on the Carpet and come for the ride!

Killerwatts (Avalon & Tristan) launched 2020 with a remix competition to mark ten years of this amazing power duo creating massive dance-floor moments together.
After choosing one of their biggest tracks 'We are Psychedelic' as the track on offer, the songs parts were shared online and nearly 500 remixes were handed in from producers around the world.

The mammoth task of working through the remixes and choosing a winner was eventually trimmed down to these final three. Two massive psychedelic dance-floor remixes, plus a third more eclectic downtempo remix. 

Argentina based friends Abat & Space Travellers remix came in top by adding their own fresh sounds and quality production to their remix, taking the original to a whole new level and ultimately snatching first place. Deliriant from South Africa presented a different dynamic and a touch of stomp with his remix, while the very new act Incredible Science topped the list of alternative remixes with their broken beat Chill-Step remix.

To add even more international flavour to this Ep, the dance-floor tracks have been mixed and mastered by Mindspin from Israel, while downbeat guru Hedflux mastered the Incredible Science remix at his studio on the coast of Scotland. A true testament as to how wide Killerwatts music has reached, and how the collaboration of two great artists has created and even larger global collaboration in the name of music and psychedelic lifestyles.

Situated on the east coast of Au Neurorythmic, Josh Barr is an Australian producer with eclectic musical interests and a deep-rooted passion for sound.
Influenced by piano and guitar from a young age before exploring the world of electronic sounds, Josh released his debut EP, “Psyborganic Matter,” with Adapted Records in December 2010.
Since then, he has developed his own unique blend of psytrance and modern bass music crafting a distinctive sound—a melodic fusion of funky, fun, twisted, and introspective elements—inviting listeners to move, think, and explore new musical landscapes.
Over the years, he has continued to evolve his sound, releasing an album and EP with Kinematic Records and collaborating with respected labels such as Inner Lotus, Pyrethrum, Insonitus, and Twizted Lotus Records, among others. This has offered him the opportunity to perform at notable festivals such as Tribal Summer Fest in New Caledonia, Luminate Festival NZ, Earth Frequency AU, PSYFARI, Origins Of Entropy and many others.
With a passion for rolling basslines, twisted jazzy stabs, and dynamic melodic soundscapes, he remains committed to exploring and expanding his musical boundaries, aiming not only to entertain but also to inspire and create moments that resonate and connect with the audience on a deeper level.
