Assault - This Is Nothing

Following up from arguably one of the most highly regarded sets of its era, Dj Marc Smith, hosted by MC G-Force, are back after a 10 year-hiatus, to tear down the walls once again, live at Rezerection v Love Decade last September in Sunderland.

The Technics Wizard and Turntable Psycho, Marc Smith produces yet another trademark barnstormer of a set, that took the roof off the place, like only he can. 

An amazing set, with the Marc Smith genius stamped all over it.

This was one of the last sets of the night, and I must admit, I was really struggling with a migraine on the Mic, as I'd been on most of the night covering for other MC's, but I left my soul on that stage, that night, and gave it all I had. 

For those of you who are interested in how the old school style of MC'ing: that being highlighting the Dj's magic, and letting the genius of work being produced on the wheels of steel, then this is certainly for you. 

True Old School style, less is more, and timing is everything.
