enuvacion <Techno is a subgenre of electronic dance music that originated in the 80s and fully developed in the 90s of the 20th century. The techno music is (as with most kinds of electronic dance music) emphasis on distinctive rhythm (based mainly on a monotone alternating beats of the bass drum and hi-hat) and a fast pace, with virtually all the sounds used are generated by the electronic musical instruments and devices. The essence of techno music is the repetition of a musical unit, which creates in the listener the feeling of tension and may even cause a kind of ecstatic trance.
