Screamship creates experimental prose-driven noise, blackhole ballads and apocalyptic dance music from Chicago, Earth. Current members include Brian Bartels and Wolfgang Gillette. After years of playing DIY shows and small festivals throughout the city, they're currently recording their first album, the Friday Riots of Giants.

Influences include video game music composers; Inon Zur, Australian ambient electronic artists;  Celtic-Gothic artists; Adrian Von Ziegler, Kate Bush, Malukah, Loreena McKennitt, Clannad and Dead Can Dance. 

Studied vocals and music theory at Conservatorium of Music Sydney and David Jannz School of singing Sydney.
PhD in neuroscience.
