South-end Boys harks back to Keith Hartley's childhood years. 
Growing up on the edge of a small town set amongst the farmland and countryside.  The summers were long, and the kids from the south-end of town would gather together to run and play in the fields and woodland from morning 'til twilight.

South-End Boys

An intense track about an encounter with a malevolent, ghostly apparition.
Written and first recorded in 1981 by Pyramid, the band which preceded New England. Drew and Keith played Bass and Guitar respectively.
The song was written by Keith, Ian Patrick and Lyrics by Jon Price during the first incarnation of that band.
It's been a long time favourite and, we really thought it deserved a new airing, hence this version.

White Lady

As writers of music it is difficult not to be influenced by the music which we ourselves listen to and admire.  We are often surprised by the parallels drawn by others. 
However we are always striving for individuality, and distinctiveness... our own style and sound.
The 'Mocking Bird' in this song represents the critic in us all, that just sees the similarities rather than the distinctiveness.

Reflection in a Mirror

A track inspired by Russia's massive and unconventional aeroplane, the Ekranoplan. Designed, in secret, to fly less than 20 feet above the waves it was also known as the Caspian Sea Monster. An incredible machine born of the cold war.
This is a re-working of our 2015 track featuring new drum tracks and a new mix.

Reformed in 2014, New England originally came together in 1983, gigging, writing music and recording in the Bradford area until the demise of the band, due to pressures of personal life,in 1985.

In the last couple of years the members of the band members have found a renewed desire to rekindle their friendship and the music.
