God's Great Love Is as Deep as the Sea
 
1 My heart is beholden with guilt when thinking of my past belief. I never sought to learn the truth, though I heard the Lord had come to speak. I clung to doctrines of the Bible, led by religion, defying God. But God came knocking at my heart's door, opening it with His words, then I heard His voice. God's words awakened me to the truth, His judgment's helped me to see. I believe in God but I don't know Him, and I am a modern Pharisee. Before the seat of Christ I'm judged. God's righteousness I'm experiencing, see how corrupted I truly am, how I've lost all humanity. God disciplines and He prunes me, I fall down before Him in my shame. Only now I see how blind I've been, how I didn't know God at all, without the truth, so pitiful! God waters me and supplies me, He personally guides me. Thus I'm on the right track of belief. God's love is as deep as the sea, I'll fulfill my duty to please Him.
 
2 For many years I believed in the Lord, preached and worked, I always showed off, and to gain His blessings I would toil. I had no reverence for God. I dreamed to heaven the Lord would raise me. So ignorant and without shame. By God's chastisement and judgment I'm saved. From the path of wrongness I turn away. If not for God's judgment, then I would be cast aside by Him. Humankind is so corrupted, tainted deeply by Satan. If they cannot become pure, then destruction will be their end. God disciplines and He prunes me, I fall down before Him in my shame. Only now I see how blind I've been, how I didn't know God at all, without the truth, so pitiful! God waters me and supplies me, He personally guides me. Thus I'm on the right track of belief. God's love is as deep as the sea, I'll fulfill my duty to please Him. God's love is as deep as the sea.
