Sean Martin is a multi-versed musician & tattooer from Connecticut. As a guitarist, songwriter, and/or producer he has worked with a variety of well known artists including Hatebreed, Cold Cave, Wear Your Wounds, Twitching Tongues, Cage, Kid Cudi, House of Blow, XO Skeletons, Jet Fueled Horses, and more.

Originally formed as a grunge and heavy metal band, New Wake has been a working project since its creation by guitarist Carlo Hinojosa in 2007 but has now drastically changed its stylistics to a more artistic sound including elements of avant-garde, noise, shoegaze, ambient, drone, electronic, and progressive rock. New Wake compositions vary from strong brass rhythms to emphasis on melody as well as innovating beyond conventional structures. Although New Wake currently contains drums, vocal, guitar, and few syth incorporation, the band is minimalist without sounding "minimalist". The band creates atmospheric feels out of the versatile use of limited instruments.
