Divine Swelling shapes two different approaches to a style that can have different interpretations, just like the name itself with which it is usually qualified, as it can be perfectly defined according to the sonic development used by each author. In this album we can differentiate how a style such as industrial death goes beyond the tiny line that exists between this subgenre and power electronics, however, most of the times both sounds and styles overlap to create a common environment.

This album does not pretend to give a musical lesson for any user to appreciate both differences in style, it only shows the ability of two producers to generate an abysmal sound, based on extreme drones, hellish vocals, beleaguered rhythms and harsh and distorted sound designs.

This alliance is formed by the Catalan producer Noir Noir, who signs the six tracks of side A, in which he promotes different forms associated with power electronics and abrasive industrial, with dense landscapes, terrifying vocals, electrifying textures and esoteric rhythms. Vesakh is in charge of the four tracks on side B, a project created from anonymity and which exhibits in this album a great creative potential to transform any sound source into a plea based on noise and its corrosive nature.

Release date: March 10th, 2022.

We are pleased to share with you "Naive Melodies" the second release on Natural Selections, this time from our old friend and most trusted collaborator Deep Nalström ( @phil_nalstrom aka Guillaume de Ubéda, the man behind Atelier Superplus). This LP is a seven track journey through Deep Nalström's most profound meanders, a mystical ode to Nature inviting the listeners to explore their inner-self and reconnect with the cosmic energies.
It will be out in May 2019 through Rubadub Distribution.

SNOWFLAKES VARIATIONS: COMPOSED AND PLAYED BY DS. 

PRELUDE: here introducing the main theme which will be heavily used in a much longer and more complex follow-up piece. RECORDED: audio-in handplayed, using two brand new Yamaha and Roland keyboards.

SNOWFLAKES VARIATIONS: It will be an agnostic kind of suite, in the sense that it follows no particular rules in how to develop, it simply grows, fractal style, in its own way ... The 2nd part is to 95% ready, and is extensive. It will feature more guitar work, and have more ebbs and flow. It has a bit of a different dynamics and the 'Prelude' didn't integrate well when inserted there - let's use it like this, as a teaser for the real work ;)

The inspiration came from some perfect days in the north; bright, ice-cold winter landscapes, with fine layers of snow falling, the sun still shining through ...

DS 10th January 2020.

Update December 2020: a 20-minute PART II is in the making and likely to be released early next year... polishing some transitions...

Update April 2021: As it happens, it took me more than 2 years to complete the 25 minute long Zummer Znowflakes....
