Short Bio

New Era is an event label / collective based in Amsterdam and is aiming for quality sound and quality music. Inspired by the history of raving, wants to remind people that RAVING does not mean wearing all black and following the same dance moves but it is a celebration of inclusivity, creativity and a sense of belonging. 

New Era is supporting the free party culture where there are no restrictions but at the same time safe space for feelings and freedom of expression to rise by hosting RAVES in unique locations with a powerful custom sound system. One of our values is to NOT forget But appreciate the roots of partying-raving.

NewEras events start by hosting a really important opening set where we respect the sound and depth of quality music. Usually the opening set consists of ambient and deep techno inspired by the Memoir and artists like Svarog/ Luigi tozzi. Then our residents take over and they bring more energetic and dynamic tunes making everyone sticking up their heads and look around. The vibes go high and the dancefloor becomes one! After promoting our sound through residents or not then the closing part is being done by darker and maybe faster groovy techno where everyone lands and dances like there is not tomorrow. We want people to leave the event with a big smile and feeling clean, refreshed and complete mentally. Our events can be also called ‘’psychotherapy’’ as this is what we are aiming as a result. Dancers come, they get ‘’hypnotised’’and then BOOM!  They connect, they get excited, they vibe, they dance and as one piece they enjoy all the benefits that RAVING is providing. This is what we call portal concept (take a look at our logo) 🙂

Was born in Aalst in the early nineties 
After a while in Aalst he moved to Antwerpen and the beach he is now living in Izegem.
When he was young party and music always was a big passion for him and it still is. 
Now these days the most of his time goes the production work for his own records starting from an empty page every time.
All his tracks are made in logic now these days.But also Ableton and the maschine software are sometimes the software to make his tracks. All his sounds are coming from his own hands, from pluggins or hardware synths/drums. so everything is unique in a way he created so almost no loops from others(sometimes i do  :P but its rarely)

Like to create some vibes that make you feel if you are in the sky but still standing on the ground. In the most of his tracks you can find some melodic tunes/vibes that he likes to create inside his mind . Also inspired by some groovy jazz sounds what is something beside dance music that he sometimes plays for relaxing his mind. 
Also the harder techno vibes he makes can make you go crazy on a dancefloor.
