"Argie is an Amsterdam based producer, fueled by his love and passion for electronic music.
When he arrived in Amsterdam in 2012, the city vibes, the people, concerts and electronic
music events surrounded him and kept him going. He had always been looking for a place
where he could express himself through music. The city of Amsterdam gave him this
opportunity.
In the first year after his arrival, he met like minded people at events, with whom he shared a
mutual passion for music. This experience initiated a path to create his own music. His
engineering background, and his brother as a mentor, always drove him to learn how things
work and merge music and emotions.
After spending hours of experimenting in the studio learning new techniques, with a fair share of
frustration and a steep learning curve, Argie had his first experimental release with EQNATION
Records. A year later another release, this time for the French label Sensum Digital. Together
these experiences led him to explore a deeper understanding of his style.

His performances are live and hybrid, layering deep grooves with percussive rhythms and large
soundscapes, to create a mysterious vibe. During his live performances he is driven by the
crowd's energy, giving him a diverse and creative sound. Argie delivers a music experience to
share collectively, where people can feel free and dance with their body, mind and soul.
In 2019 Argie initiated to help the community and founded his record label SUBEQ Music. His
vision is to support an artist from the early stages on, by sharing knowledge, tools and practice
sound design. The label has the objective to return all revenue back to its artists, as a symbol of
support and trust. As it is all about the artists' creativity and growth, not about being profitable.
At the moment SUBEQ Music has a strong community and delivers events in multiple countries
around Europe.
Argie's passion for sound engineering stands together with being creative in a live setting. He
wanted to be able to create his music based on the momentum of a venue. Many years of
testing hardware and software, from modular systems to DAW's, from controllers to analog
instruments. He educated himself on how to perform hybrid live sets, by using analog
instruments in combination with his own digital productions. Providing him the opportunity to
blend his way of performing with the environment of any venue.
In 2020, during the challenging times of the pandemic, an intriguing journey began for him in the
underground rave scene of Amsterdam. It was a period of collective struggle, as everyone
worked tirelessly for the essence of music and a strong sense of community. During this time,
he was introduced to the concept of YPNOTIKA, which led him to become an integral part of the
team dedicated to organizing memorable raves throughout the city.
His profound understanding of sound and musical expertise allowed him to contribute
significantly to the cause, both by sharing his knowledge and by performing live at these events,
ensuring that the music continued to resonate in people's hearts.The success of these
gatherings established him as a resident artist for YPNOTIKA and granted him the honor of
sharing his music in events at RADION, one of Amsterdam's finest underground clubs.
Together with those events, Argie also shared his music live to digital streams of the city such
as MaryGoWild, Studio K, Club Cloud and more.
Argie is dedicated to remaining in the city, creating and delivering a curative experience. He is
intertwined with the community in Amsterdam and gives back to the city by connecting"
