One of its most talented heralds and a surefire groove rider at that, Yanamaste graces us with a choice two hours of the entrancingly deep and bumpy 4x4 epics he’s been laying down for INNSIGNN, Lyree and Khidi in recent times. Paced-up and animal to the core, his vision sweeps an extra wide range of shades and reliefs, nimbly moving the cursor from classic Berlin-inspired blends to full-fledged magmatic trance, via Birmingham-style projections and a solid dose of folk-infused harmonics. Raw yet technical, organic with a hint of hypermodern hoodoo to it, Yanamaste’s sound is the definition of hardware techno with soul, cut to ram-raid and elevate in equal measure.

Now in its 200th instalment, this Podcast has given voice to a diverse offering of global talents across the musical spectrum, from the democratic rhythms of zeitgeist appropriate techno and house through to more avant-garde synthwork.

This next guest has cast a large shadow over the technosphere, so large in fact, that no introduction could fully encompass the breadth of his achievements. But in brief: Ben Klock is a titan whose formative years were spent playing marathon mixes to the crowds at Berlin’s (then recently opened) Berghain. Off the back of his endurance sets and the club’s success he became a household name whose influence grew to be felt across the world, with a body of work that includes appearances at an exhaustive list of clubs and festivals, a number of hot releases on Ostgut Ton and an equally respected self-run label (Klockworks) to boot. On this second imprint, his own productions have repeatedly seen the light of day, alongside those from the likes of DVS1, Sterac, Stef Mendesidis and younger talents like Temudo and Vil & Cravo. The sound, ubiquitous as it is, will be familiar to anyone involved in the world of electronic music and there’s good reason for that: Klock’s deep and percussive work and ability to pull from a wide range of influences have earmarked him as a unique agent for the techno cause. Chlär holds this perpetual need to learn and improve, convinced of the fundamental relationships humans share with the groove. His productions and performances are attempts to awaken the tribal and primitive instinct that sleeps in each of us. His sets are direct crowd-galvanizers, with technical and forward-thinking blends of grooves featuring loops of his own production. Always improvising through relentless 3-4 decks actions, his context sensitive approach to performances is fueled by an highly effective audience reading which will guarantee an electrifying moment, no matter the set time and duration.

He is also a mastering engineer and recently founded his own imprint Primal Instinct Rec. Chlär is sharpening his musical senses and abilities on many sides of the industry, by being an artist and
engineer but also working in A&R and Event Management, recently earning him the award of “Raver’s Choice’’ by the Raving Spoon awards.

Unveiling her talent as a multidisciplinary artist and co-founder of the techno label Immaterial.Archives, Italian-born Elisa Batti is an exceptional artist based in Amsterdam. She is also a resident of the collective Ypnotika. 
Her activity is diversified between a spectrum of different projects, all of them, though, connected through one red line: electronic music. In her projects, she always likes to push and expand the boundaries of contemporary music to the limits, trying to assemble it into multidisciplinary projects.
She started her career collaborating with artists from different disciplines for installations and theater pieces, working on sound design and technology development. Her works have been presented in many venues worldwide, such as Palais de Tokyo, Taiwan National Theater, Ballet National de Marseille, Kinetica Museum London, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, ZKM Karlsruhe, Fusion Festival, and more. 
Elisa Batti has released her music on various electronic and techno labels such as Semantica,Qilla Records,Balans Records, NYXII, Diffuse Reality, Observant, and others.  
She has been actively performing as a DJ for several years. With a remarkable range spanning from hypnotic and deep to driving and energetic techno, she can guide you through an enchanting odyssey of mysterious sounds, infusing each composition with her distinctive personal touch.

Yugen (幽玄) is made by Elisa Batti and Jorge Fons.

One year ago they met to record an improvised live set, and there the idea was born. They wanted to share something different: fresh new sounds seen through Wabi Sabi.

To capture a wide range of moods, they chose to shape five distinct pieces. Each track brings its own rhythm, from gentle and rhythmic sounds to gentle ambient soundscapes. And Helium is an extract from their live set, preserving all its natural energy.
