The second track from my new album, (music for an unmade film). The album was borne out of a film score I wrote for an independent film that sadly never reached completion.

it doesn't get easier originally accompanied a period of reflection and sadness within the unmade film, with a principal character reflecting on tragic events that occurred near the start of the film and set the tone and scene for the principal plot. The piece accompanied a montage of sadness and reflection within the film, reaffirming the scale of the tragedy of the main event around which the plot was built.

sways over my heart
pulsing wild, untamed
beset by this curse again...!
Doubts I never hold
are conquering me by fright
with thoughts I once forgot
like ether gathering it all
The last remnant of my plan
to set free the echoes
haunting my head
Oh they grow, they shape
entwined
in my mind´s eye
And they tear, they scratch, they yearn...
Such uncanny gift
cannot be denied
so it's safely hidden
in my mind´s eye

There is a video on my music channel including scenes while the making of. It extends with a guided forest mediation with forest sounds after the song, though composition is as it's here just two minutes long the video continues  just with Nature sounds recorded in situ so people can close their eyes and meditate a little after listening to it.
