The Path to Cognition EP – “The Village” describes René's time in the countryside. With soft pad sounds and a smooth bass René invites you to a travel back through time to his youth. You can literally feel the big forests, blue lakes and calm village life. Beneath that, the light use of exotic instruments reveals the itchy feet René had back in those days.

Robin Schulz created an amazing remix which also discloses his completely different feeling about village life. He removed all pad sounds, reworked many elements and added a vocal to specify his message: he loves the calm life in the village & enjoys the beauty of loneliness. Maybe because these days he’s on tour and playing in cities all over the world.

The I am Frost project – The idea was to create a project that goes beyond the boundaries of music. I am Frost combines music, video and words into a multimedia work of art that appeals to the ears, the eyes and the mind in equal measure. “The Path to Cognition EP” is accompanied by a corresponding live and visual show and a short story. The second chapter awaits in summer 2014.

Vergissmeinnicht – is a globally active artist collective with bases in Peru, Germany & Switzerland. With a party series in Peru and Zurich providing a strong basis, Vergissmeinnicht cemented its legendary status after organizing the Görlitzer Park open air party of 1 May 2011. The idea behind Vergissmeinnicht is to provide a platform for like-minded artists for trans-border cultural exchange and to help each other with promotion, advice, contacts and music production.

"That weird place between youth and middle age." 
It has been a long time in the making, but in the 2nd Half of 2011 Joakim will release his 4th studio album on Tigersushi Records. It seems impossible to comprehend that the label that brought Joakim as much fame and notoriety as his music, has never released a single piece of music that is 100% produced by him. Alas this fact is true, and therefore it gives us much satisfaction to announce Joakims first single ‘Forever Young’ to be taken from the new Album is also the First Joakim single to be released on Tigersushi.
It would be fair to see the release of 'Forever Young' as Joakim's Road To Damascus, and as such comes with an inspiring degree of honesty and self-reverence. "Forever Young' is my song for all the 30-something-year old people out there.  I used to hate people between 30 and 40 when I was under 30. I thought they gave up on most of their beliefs and lived a dull and fake life. Love cowards pretending to still be cool, contemptuous grown-ups afraid of the young sharks. But now I'm one of THEM. So I have to cope with that." Coping, it would appear, means creating wonderful pieces of synth-heavy pop, that leans towards classic Kosmische and singing very personal songs with his own voice. It is this Notion of "Coping" that makes you believe Joakim's Mid-Life Crisis could bring even more wonderful compositions to music, especially since 'Forever young' was "the first song composed for the new album." But for now let us relish the moment of a man turning 30.
Joakim describes the thought process behind the production of 'Forever Young' as trying "to make the soundtrack of a late Indian summer sunset, on a beach." Such a setting is a time for everyone, where age is meaningless; most of all it's a time when you're enjoying something that is fading away, it's like enjoying a great Souvenir. It is both delightful if not a little melancholic at the same time, but juxtaposed with the lyrics, this creates a dark undertone which is a repeated throughout song with the chorus resolving itself on an unresovable question…'where do you belong?' "Like some other tracks from my new album, this sounds kinda happy, but it's actually not"
An ominous sentiment, and like the song, Joakim offers no answers. But 'Forever Young' seems to be a coming of age story that coincides with the story of an artist coming home to his label. Recorded and produced close to the Tigersushi office Joakim delves into his label roster for collaborators and remixers with "Mark Kerr, who's been in my band since the beginning, playing those bouncy african-inspired drums." Discodeine provides the star quality for the remixes and new artists DyE rises to the occasion by taking on remix duties for his A&amp;R Manager. "I'm very happy with the remixes. Discodeine's take is a real grower and works amazingly in the club with its tropical synths. DyE's version emphasises the pop side of Forever Young and turns the track into an epic house tune." As an introduction to Joakim's forth album it shows an artist at home with the past whilst looking to the future, on a label where he belongs. Prime Numbers are back with E11, the latest in our highly lauded signature E.P series.

First up is a heavyweight collaboration between Mr Scruff & Kaidi Tatham, who provide a smouldering jazz-house production with Kaidi leading the way on 
keys and flute accompanying a warm & chunky bottom-heavy groove. 

M.C.D.E drops a killer raw cut witha heavily smashed jackin’ disco workout comparable to a fine Cajual dub or early Striclty Rhyhtm release. The track oozes 
soul and is unpretentiously aimed at the dancefloor. Once again Danilo Plessow proves less is more. 

Andres completes the line up with a cheeky blend of some classic ingredients. Sounding like a track from his early releases, “Jack City” has all the essential 
hallmarks of the Andres sound with an excellently simple but purely effective fusion of house and hiphop ethics.
