New In Care is a podcast series where I interview people who are experts in healthcare both as advocates or clinicians and as consumers.

We are all stakeholders in the future of healthcare. And this is primarily conversations about people's experiences of care and how that informs their advocacy or clinical service improvement efforts.
I'm hoping to have conversations that encourage transparency. That isn't about focussing on who to blame or congratulate, but to offer a reflective viewpoint that supports a culture of continuous learning and, even more importantly, slowing change down so we can sustain improvements.

Where possible I want to get specific, to talk about specific initiatives and drill into the details, the purpose, the evidence, and the value of an initiative and place it against the status quo and new best practices.
