Born in 1969, Jemaho started playing music in 1983. He had opportunities to play in legendary clubs like The Café D'Anvers or The Catacombes. He's now known for his infamous Nova Casa Jazz and the latter One15 Sessions. Jemaho is also the brain behind Jazzy Butterfly Records, a digital label that tends to prove that real Deep and House Music can also survive in this digital world. He has also, as a producer, releases on Xoom Recordings, Major League House, Série Limitée, Pocket Money and others!

Born and raised in Athens, Greece, Dr MIKE (P) , developed a particular interest in music at very early age. He took his first steps in Djing back in the early 90's, playing mostly alternative rock and the new wave scene. Dr Mike became popular in the North Western part of Greece with his radio show 'Alternative NRG' which was one of the highest rated radio productions for two consecutive years. In 2000, Dr Mike moved to England, to obtain a Masters Science in Biomechanics and a Phd degree in Bio-MedicalEngineering. This move also opened up avenues in his music exploration and production of electronic sounds. His recent music style reflects the diversity of his personality and his music sets deliver eclectic influences from his favorite music genres of Cosmic Disco, Progressive and  Tech House. Dr Mike has Djed in various bars and clubs in his hometown of Athens the Greek isles as well as in a number of events in the UK and in the US. Currently,  resident DJ  at Soul Gastrolounge in Charlotte NC.

Got into soul back in the 80's, 1984 was the year I started buying records (rather than just taping off the radio!), and I picked up 'Ain't Nobody' by Rufus & Chaka Khan, 'Somebody Else's Guy' from Jocelyn Brown, and Change's 'Change of Heart' amongst a whole host of others.

Listening to Tony Blackburn on Radio London led to Luther, Anita Baker and Maze, and eventually to the likes of Robbie Vincent, Andy Peebles, et al  Robbie in particular must be responsible for half my record collection.  From here I discovered the likes of By All Means, started searching out import US 12" singles at hidden away record outlets (I remember a couple of basements in Croydon - that hive of soul!), and started going to acts live.

I did some mobile DJ stuff, had a couple of turntables and a mixer in the bedroom, and had a stint doing some hospital radio.

All that got put on hold for a few years before I met Les Adams, 'the mix-doctor'!, and he encouraged and helped me to put a demo together for Solar Radio, and hey, presto!

Newlands and Hook is a jazz funk and soul collaboration between Clive Newlands (keys) and Alan Hook (sax and flute). 


Alan Hook started playing at eight years of age. At fourteen he played at the Royal School of Music as a soloist. At seventeen, he played at Belle View, Royal Albert Hall, Wembley stadium and Best of Brass on the BBC.
Alan has toured extensively in Europe with numerous bands and has played professionally for the last 30 years.

Clive started having piano lessons at an early age and then took up trumpet and cornet into his teens & twenties. He played in a jazz trio and an 11-piece jazz funk band before starting his solo writing career.
