Self-taught producer, art director and label head. Though for the past 16 years his repertoire has drawn references anywhere from club culture's obscure fringes and caustic industrial clatter to musique concrète discretion and knuckle-dragging rock — it all feeds into his sense of sonic intensities and improvisational, organic production values. Lund's work is fixated on close examination of timbre and texture, at sword's point with passive listening. More recently he has shifted into employing contextual methods of capturing and processing sound, twisting into bewildering new forms.

Antifascist nonbinary noise musician (fka Colon Three), also the 2nd half of S/N Measures, Catatonic Dread and Coextinct (and formerly of Ropes of Maui).

Over a timespan of more than 26 years vidnaObmana, Fear Falls Burning and Microphonics have become Dirk Serries' personal triptych in analysing, dissecting, creating and processing sound. From the early industrial, the minimal synth ambient, the genre-splicing tribal fusion, the overpowering guitardrones to the pure, straightforward and minimal guitarambience. The perfect closure on his alter-ego's vidnaObmana and Fear Falls Burning completes the trilogy. A tryptich that has come full circle with re-enactment of his passion for the pure, minimal and beautiful.

The original concept for COUNCIL ESTATE ELECTRONICS was for Justin K Broadrick and Diarmuid Dalton, via analog synths and electronics, to pay tribute to the synthesizer music they were influenced by in their youth : Tangerine Dream, Throbbing Gristle, Kraftwerk, Cluster, etc. Set to the imagery and geography of the council estate in Birmingham in which they were both raised; Shard End and the surrounding areas. Once the duo set to work on the music they found other influences seeping in - seventies dub like King Tubby, Scientist, etc and early dub techno founders Basic Channel, Maurizio, Chain Reaction label, etc, thus expanding the sound palette and the geographical environment that was to be the theme for the project. After two digital only releases through Broadrick's own Avalanche Recordings imprint, available only on Bandcamp,, the project will now see further exposure through it's first physical release on the Glacial Movements label dub/techno ICEBERG series - 'ARKTIKA' will be released on CD / Digital in Sept. 2016, with many more releases to follow.

newmachine is my old amateur musical project. Since being 16, in years 1991 - 2003 I have recorded demotapes revolving around contemporary drone, shoegaze, post-metal, post-rock, slow/sadcore, stoner rock, neo/nordic/dark/black folk bands and music. I have restored old demotapes and alongside composed new songs now. And of course, I have played all of the instruments.

newmachine je môj starý amatérsky hudobný projekt. Od svojich 16-tich - v rokoch 1991 až 2003 som zaznamenával demosnímky, ktoré znejú ako súčasné drone, shoegaze, post-metal, post-rockové kapely a ich hudba. Teraz znovuobnovujem staré demosnímky a popritom skladám nové piesne. Hrám na všetky nástroje vo svojich skladbách.

Rika, eine Band in vierköpfiger Besetzung, hat sich für das Debütalbum "How To Draw A River, Step by Step" (VÖ 15.02.13) Raum und Zeit genommen. Aufgenommen wurde gemeinsam mit Christian Hölzel (Francis International Airport) in einem still gelegten Fabriksareal, fernab dem lauten Treiben der Großstädte, in denen die Mitglieder sich sonst aufhalten. Das Resultat nach über einem Jahr klingt organisch, melancholisch. In ruhigen Momenten hört man das Rauschen des Flusses, das Zwitschern der Vögel, den herannahenden Zug. Die melancholische Wärme von Bands wie Low und vielschichtige Soundflächen à la The National oder Bon Iver verschmelzen bei Rika zu einem eigenständigen Ganzen.
