BIOGRAFIA

Attivo dal 2004, il Rude Massive Soundsystem aka The Sun Beach Tanka nasce dalla passione viscerale che Lello Smith, Camionji e Grankyo nutrono per la black music e per la musica proveniente dalla Jamaica in particolare.
Nei primi anni di attività, si pensa a collezionare un vasto repertorio di 45 giri, iniziando a spingere dancehall prima a San Benedetto del Tronto e poi in giro per l’Italia.
In questi undici anni Rude Massive ha suonato nelle maggiori yard italiane: da Catanzaro a Torino, toccando Roma, Perugia, Bologna, Padova, Venezia, La Spezia, Pescara, Termoli, Ancona, Senigallia, affiancando le crew ed i dj piu' rappresentativi d’Italia come Bashfire, Northern Lights, Kissusenti, Love Massive, Kalibandulu, Villa Ada, Heavy Hammer, Always Loving Jah, Hotta Faya, Muccigna Sound, Balooba, Pure Love, Pakkiacrew.

Nel 2008 a Bologna arriva il primo trofeo "The Lake Splash Cup” battendo Combostyle da Grosseto e Caligula Sound da Ancona. Dopo due anni il carro armato sambenedettese, sempre più agguerrito, vince nel 2010 e nel 2011 entrambe le edizioni del "Judgement Day Soundclash" al Big Bang di Roma contro Shanty Crew da Bari e Soul Earthquake da Venezia e, l’anno seguente, Fury Bass da Parigi. 

Negli ultimi anni, la crew si è allargata con l'arrivo di Kattani, Marko Ranks, George One, Don Pablo, Steph-O, Alexx, Fredo, Alessio e Rocco.
Nonostante l’arrivo di nuove reclute, il sun beach tanka ha sempre continuato a promuovere reggae music a 360°: dal live di artisti come Mr.Lexx, Burro Banton e Attila alla dancehall con sound e dj come I-Shence, Dancehall Soldiers, Supersonic, MadKid, Bom Chilom, Wicked A, Ematoras, Weedaklan, Dj MadMike; continuando a spingere dancehall a Pescara ogni weekend insieme a SlengTeng, Lickshot e Rastauno.

BIOGRAPHY

Active since 2004, the Rude Massive aka The Sun Beach Tanka grew out of the deep passion which Lello Smith, Camionji and Grankyo felt for reggae music in general and dancehall in particular. In their first years they put together a vast collection of 45s and they began to push the Jamaican sound/dancehall first in San Benedetto and then all around Italy.
During this time Rude Massive have played music in the greatest Italian yards, Rome, Perugia, Bologna, Padova, Venezia, Turin, Catanzaro, La Spezia, Pescara, Termoli, Ancona, Senigallia, Fano, together with the most representative crews of Italy: I-Science, Bashfire, Dancehall Soldiers, Northern Lights, Kissusenti, Kalibandulu, Frisco Sound, Villa Ada, Love Massive, Heavy Hammer, Always Loving Jah, Hotta Faya, Muccigna Sound, Balooba, Pure Love, Pakkia Crew.
In 2008 they won their first trophy “The Lake Splash Cup” beating Combostyle outta Grosseto and Caligula Sound outta Ancona. Two years later the ever more combative San Benedetto tank won in 2010 and in 2011 both the editions of the Judgement Day held at the Big Bang in Rome, first against Shanty Crew outta Bari and Soul Earthquake outta Venezia and then against Fury Bass outta Paris/Montpellier.
In the last two years the crew grew to include Kattani, Marko Ranks, George One, Don Pablo,Steph-O, Alexx , Fredo Alessio Ci & Rocco . Their danz are full of tremendous energy which involves the massive with selections ranging from roots to hip hop.

Luca Sommariva is a musician, a designer and an architect. His music route binds in a harmonious way, the design concept in a symbiosis that reveals the construction, attention to detail and aesthetic research.
The music that flows from is completely corporal: while moving in the territories of electronic music, Luca seems to be getting away from trends and schools, whatever.
His sound textures evoke universes where darkness and light are only one aspect of the same reality, soundtracks where drones dance with the more traditional aspects,  with a strong emotional and evocative load.
Big fan of classical music in his compositions instruments such as the piano or the cello play a key role, stressed in live performance where he’s often accompanied by a string quartet.
Luca creates personally the graphics and packaging of his productions, including the realization of the visuals, using different techniques, from photography to 3D computer graphics and always with previously unreleased material: as well as in music, where he never uses samples (except for any natural sounds “found” and recorded during his travels), even for images the concept is always original. All this reinforces the uniqueness of his communication, which is expressed in a personal artistic way.
