For the tenth installment of New Palm’s seasonal mix series, we’re honored to invite @diskonnected - one of our favorite selectors, our recent guest in LA, resident at Hong Kong’s famed 宀 club, and the mastermind behind Taiwan’s Smoke Machine @smokemachinetaipei series. 

We have long been fans of Diskonnected since locking in to his extended sets on the shores of Hualien at Smoke Machine’s flagship Organik festival a decade ago. Hearing his sound both hone in and expand out over the years since has been a continual source of inspiration for us and a big influence on the kinds of sounds we gravitate towards. 

We’re pleased to present Diskonnected’s mix of left-field ambient, experimental, and downtempo, recorded live at a chill-out night at Taipei’s Pawnshop @pawnshoptaipei in 2021. Thank you for sharing this with us 🙏
