In de nok van Nederland scheuren gitaarklanken over een industrieterrein. Vanuit een rokerig repetitiehok klinken de catchy songs van Marble Heart. Vier jongens werken zich in het zweet en persen de rock ’n roll uit hun instrumenten en versterkers. Met bands als Rival Sons, Queens Of The Stone Age en Foo Fighters als inspirator kun je stevige en vooral ook lekkere muziek verwachten. En als je het publiek mag geloven krijg je dat ook!

Dit sterke viertal weet met hun enthousiasme een pakkende liveshow neer te zetten. De energie die de band uitstraalt op het podium werkt zo aanstekelijk dat het simpelweg een kwestie van tijd is voor het publiek aanhaakt met knikkende koppies en stampende voetjes. Nog maanden, weken of dagen schijnen de catchy melodieën in de hoofden van het publiek rond te blijven zwerven.

Alongside working with various ensembles, bands, and projects ranging from drumming in local bands to developing performance art pieces for international conferences, Gydo Keijzer (1993) ceaselessly kept at his individual music projects, most recently culminating in Eager Atom. 

Atmospheric, brooding, synth-heavy, and yet undeniably keen, Eager Atom's polyrhythmic grooves and counterpoint melodies reflect an interest in the post apocalyptic. Nevertheless, the tracks retain an optimism derived from 90's house and IDM. The name "Eager Atom" is the outcome of an algorithm, written by Keijzer himself, that generates iambic word pairs out of entries in his notebook.

Gydo Keijzer grew up in Groningen, where he studied Afro-Cuban drums and met with fellow progrock enthusiasts. He discovered his love for electronic music when he was fourteen years old. For Keijzer, Groningen still functions as the hub where his ambitions as a composer, drummer, and producer intersect.

In 2011 Keijzer moved to Utrecht to partake in the pilot course Musician 3.0 at the Utrecht University of Arts. He graduated in 2015, after which he acquired a much sought-after place in the Honours Programme for Young Artists and Scientists at the Royal Netherlands Academy for Arts and Science. In Oktober 2016, Gydo accompanied Tet Koffeman at the "Arts Without Borders" conference in Helsinki. 

Since then, Gydo has collaborated with various artists. He currently drums and coproduces for Elizabett.

New Red Fading is an indie/alternative rock band based in Groningen, the Netherlands. Their music is best to be described as a melodic and hypnotic cinematic blend of music ranging from alternative rock, post-rock, progressive rock, to blues, electronic music and more traditional music.
