Monnom Black will mark its 17th release with its first various artist compilation presented on triple vinyl. Keeping with the label’s modus operandi, the compilation is packed with iconic, raw and uncompromising techno, featuring 13 artists new and old to the imprint, including a re-release of a classic Drax aka Thomas P. Heckmann track from 1993.

To coincide with the launch of the compilation, Monnom Black will hold its first highly-anticipated label party. Locking arms with the notorious underground Dutch promoters Reaktor, known for their challenging events and pushing the boundaries of what techno has to offer. Together they will celebrate with an electronic onslaught on New Year’s Eve in Amsterdam’s Elementstraat Warehouse. A location cut to the bone that perfectly encapsulates the label and promoters combined vision and ethos.

Dax J curates the night fusing the label together for a special moment in time, with the titan warehouse opening up two of its rooms hosting a monster line up with the likes of CJ Bolland, Regis as CUB, Thomas P. Heckmann, I Hate Models, UVB, Stranger, Zanias, Cressida, Inhalt Der Nacht, Raffaele Attanasio, Tommy Holohan and Remco Beekwilder.

LUCIANO ESSE has an expert knowledge of music in all its expression. He starts to work in the early nineties in the italian club scene. Then he joins The Flame Crew and he starts to have the first contact with decks and vinyls. He moves to London in 2001 to make deeper his music knowledge and from summer 2002 he starts to play regularly at all the best clubs, from Fabric to The Egg, from The End to The Cross. In 2005 he starts to organise his own party "ZUM" with Antonio De Angelis at the most underground clubs in London. In 2005 he starts his residency with The Flame Music Department in Milan at superclub Amnesia. In summers 2006 and 2007 he is one of the resident djs of "Vitalik Crew" at We Love Sundays at Space in Ibiza. From 2006 till 2010 he is one of the regular djs at the Italian super clubs Clorophilla, Cromie and Guendalina. He also played at most of the biggest clubs in Barcelona, Madrid, Moscow, Valencia, Lisbon, Athens, Paris, etc. At the moment he is resident dj at Sound Department in Taranto (South Of Italy), which is one of the most underground parties in Italy. He released music on Out-Er, Affekt, District66, Tenax, Aloe, Safari Electronique, Material, Sleaze, Trapez, Newrhythmic.

The Berlin based DJ and producer with a trajectory of more than a decade, has established herself in the underground Berliner scene in the last years, Tresor Resident and curator of the very well known “New Faces” events.

The depth of her sets immerses us in a space trip dominated by hypnotic and heavy electronic environments in the same harmonic code, intelligible techno ruled by a musical selection capability only available for accurately and experienced ears. Her execution in the Dj booth is almost millimeter, enhancing the technical qualities of the set and the auditory introspection with the public.
