We have a very special podcast for 011 and our first international to contribute and be apart of the IWTFA podcast. We have Natch Records label owner and well respected producer and techno mastermind, Synthek

Synthek has kindly produced us with a 1 hour of his 7 hour closing set recorded at Khidi in Tbilisi Georgia which he played after Boston 168. 

Synthek also goes under the alias of Andaman which is his new side project focusing on his works over the years that allows for him to be experimental with his  own production and sounds. 

Synthek is a Berlin based Dj and producer, owner of Natch Records and STK imprint. Always seeking for new influences, over the past years the style of his sets and productions faced a constant evolution, focusing on deep rhythmics and powerful, introspective vibes.

Following few successful eps on Natch Records, he released the debut album Unwise, in collaboration with the label partner Audiolouis. Unwise, seen as their last co-produced effort, got consecutively remixed by Polar Inertia, Antigone and Varg among others.

Synthek started curating the booking of New Faces Wednesdays at Tresor Berlin since 2014, becoming a respected presence behind the decks of the legendary venue, especially for closing sets.

The idea of creating STK, a self titled imprint - home of his own productions only, gives him the freedom to experiment new approaches to music production and reshape his signature sound. The
initial wave of 3 Eps 'VERSE', launched in July 2015, brought him to look slightly away from the dancefloor, and finally orienting towards mind-twisting and psychedelic compositions.

Beside STK,since his last appearance on Attic Music, for D.A.N.C.E 2, he released new material, like MRI Ep on the Russian label Wunderblock, a remix alongside Svreca on spanish Redpoint Alert, and a contribute for a compilation on OVUNQVE.

Synthek is recently working on a new full-length project that will see the light early 2017.

The music world was always something that fascinated Cardão. This strong passion for electronics began to develop around 2007, the year he made 16 years. Due to the first inflences as Jeffmills, CarlCox and the portuguese, Underground Sound of Lisbon. He decided to start playing, doing dj set’s that could put any style lover to dance like there is no tomorrow. He also started going to parties, always with great attention to line-up’s and the work that the DJs in question had been developing. You could say that the turn really serious to techno in 2009, when Cardão attended the Coimbra Dance Fest where he saw Jeff Mills and Carl Craig for the first time live. The sounds of Detroit quickly seized his heart and mind. It was then that his dj set’s began to gain a new form: more powerful, rawer, mental and industrial. Among the major influences that helped Cardão to get where he is today there is Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Surgeon, Oscar Mulero, Truncate, Pfirter, Deepbass, among others.

Electric Indigo, DJ, composer, musician, has performed in 38 countries across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. She represents an intelligent and distinguished interpretation of techno and electronic music. Her DJ-sets are characterized by a wide variety with a clarity of vision and a depth that comes from a deep understanding of the music and the art of DJing. As a composer and musician, she creates music for concert spaces, clubs, sound installations and occasionally for stage plays and short films. In her compositions and live performances, she emphasizes the spatial-temporal placement of subtly elaborated sounds and structures, often generated from speech recordings. Electric Indigo shuttles between Vienna and Berlin.

The Berlin based DJ and producer with a trajectory of more than a decade, has established herself in the underground Berliner scene in the last years, being a regular artist at the emblematic club Tresor, and hosting as well the very well known “New Faces” parties.
 
The depth of her sets immerses us in a space trip dominated by hypnotic and heavy electronic environments in the same harmonic code, intelligible techno ruled by a musical selection capability only available for accurately and experienced ears. Her execution in the Dj booth is almost millimeter, enhancing the technical qualities of the set and the auditory introspection with the public.
 
As far as production is concerned,Dinamite made her first important debut in 2015 releasing a great EP on Planet Rhythm “Doxa” which had an amazing support. In the same year she released her first ep “ Qualia” in Affin records followed by a collaboration on the same label in the compilation “Signs” with the very acclaimed track “Nebel”. Is at the end of 2016 when She debuts in the very respected and multidisciplinary label Detroit Underground with “Excelsior” ep where she shows a very personal vision of Techno and electronic music. 
 
Dinamite has also released in Illegal Alien Records, Stratosphera Records, Northallsen Records, AYCB, Tag & Wandrach, Bipolar Disorder Records, Concerns Music, Sphynxxx Recordings and more things to come.
