Rooted in the glory of 70 ‘s disco and driven by Ame- rican 80’s R&B, their unique sound echoes in symbiosis with the classic Ver- sailles pop from Gothenburgs bay area to the beaches of Côte des Basques. The music is reminiscent of George Duke anno 1982, combined with the vibes of Phoenix, Lemaitre and Daft Punk.

Imprégné par la vague disco de 70‘s et entraîné par le R&B américain 80’s, leur son unique fait écho aux classiques pop. As notes and words formed the LP, it was clear that Manganas Garden’s music was filled with a whirlwind of nostalgia, hope and anxiety. The group matured through a journey in the world of Manganas, steered by capricious winds on agitated water and comforted by the warmth of a ruby red sun, of which you receive glimpses and echoes in the form of musical postcards. Throughout the LP, we follow the group in these fragments of time and memories through the twists and turns of their journey, a dualistic carousel: Often oscillating between melancho- ly and hopefulness, angst and love, the music portrays the dichotomy of their world in their search for the Garden.
