From Tarndanya (Adelaide, South Australia), Bennie has spent the better part of the last 25 years digging deep into the sounds that move him - from jungle, dubstep and drum and bass to more soulful, downtempo selections. His mixes are often described as deep, hypnotic and warm - equally suited to heavy sound systems, late-night gatherings, or quiet moments of introspection.

His connection to music started early. After studying music at high school and playing in concert bands both here and in Japan during an exchange, Bennie stumbled upon jungle and drum and bass thanks to mixes his sister brought back from overseas. Back in the '90s, she also introduced him to the Cargo crew - a club known for blending jazz, funk, beats, and spoken word, all tied together by a love for good soul music.

Being part of the Rumble crew at Cargo - a monthly night that brought in fresh interstate and international drum and bass DJs - Bennie got to dive deeper into the scene. Time in Japan with the Delete crew expanded his musical horizons even further. When dubstep was just starting to take shape in 2001, he was there mixing sets and later worked alongside FTDF and Redline Dubstars from around 2007 to 2013, helping grow that movement.

Over 25 years of making music, Bennie's passion has stretched beyond just DJing - into production and visual arts - always pushing to explore new creative paths. Even through lockdown, he kept the music flowing, streaming with the Transmitting Live crew and pitching in at events whenever possible. Recently, he's been involved in collaborations at Ancient World alongside Wickid Lickwid and the Deeptank crew.

He's featured on radio also, making appearances on The Ones & Twos, Rollerz, The BassBin, and more.

A familiar presence across the Mulubinba, Eora, and bush doof scene, she contributes quietly but meaningfully to the underground community as creative director of Newy Bass Crew, advocating for safe and inclusive spaces and emphasis on music over ego. With festival and radio experience behind her, she has exciting new projects in the works, continuing to grow her voice in the bass scene.

Newy Bass Crew, established to foster a community focused on love, inclusivity, equality, diversity, authenticity, and the unrestrained freedom of self-expression in Australia’s Hunter Region and beyond. Shining a light on talents in rural areas, celebrating the connection between music and nature.

Launched in late 2021, the crew comprises of a plethora of DJs from the region and have gone on to hold numerous club events, showcases, fundraisers and secret parties, as well as hosting jungle and drum and bass legend, Dillinja, in Eora in early 2023, and holding a stage takeover at Subsonic Festival in late 2023 as well as at the Eora’s KOAN Sound boat party in 2024. NBC kicked off 2025 in collaboration with Subjective Eora and Wonky Nomad Productions for the Open Air City Doof, featuring the UK’s Hypho and PAV4N, in Eora, and a stage takeover at Antigravity 2025.

Our involvement in the local scene includes a history of local-focussed events and co-hosting a radio show on Orbital Radio Sydney from 2021 until its closure in 2023. Since then, we've continued to support the scene through our weekly mix series on Soundcloud, surpassing it's 100th feature in 2024. This series showcases talent from across Australia and the globe.

Our DJs cover a wide range of bass genres, including drum and bass, jungle, dubstep, footwork, UKG, bass house, psy dub, and more. Diversity, inclusivity, and safety are central to our events, and we are dedicated to fostering a sense of community within the bass scene.

With a big focus on underground rave and doof culture and safe spaces, our crew members have been featured at various events including Basscamp, Zenith Gathering, Dragon Dreaming Festival, Rain Dance Festival, Origins of Entropy, SubTerra, Esoteric Festival, RootBound Festival, Initiation Festival, Art Valley and more.

KreliaS, a classically trained musician, embarked on a remarkable musical journey, forged amidst the crucible of heavy metal's primal energy, the ethereal realms of progressive/alternative and psychedelic rock, and the haunting abyss of dub bass lines. From this enigmatic fusion, KreliaS weaves spellbinding tapestries of dark and emotive drum and bass soundscapes, seamlessly blending raw power and melodic liquid elements.
With a focus on production, KreliaS has been diligently crafting his own distinctive style of drum and bass to enhance his sets and share with the world.

Amorositie is a South Australian DJ, aspiring producer and DNB radio host. A musical expression from the mind of Katie Morrison, Amorositie explores electronic music genres with a focus on Drum and Bass. With a deep understanding of the energies and emotions in the sound waves, Amorositie crafts musical experiences to entrance, energise and emote the listener. From the deep dark and heavy to the beautiful and ethereal; Amorositie lovingly expresses all in her music.

Beginning her DJ journey in 2020 with the Adelaide Audio Institute, Amorositie now frequents the local Adelaide Drum and Bass, doof and club scenes. Of note, Amorositie has supported numerous acts including DJ Flight (UK), Roni Size (UK), Visages (FR), Truth (NZ) Ed Rush & Optical (UK), Terrence & Phillip (AUS), Ternion Sound (USA), Mystic State (UK), Delta Heavy (UK), Ivy Lab (UK) and The Upbeats (NZ). She is a regular at local nightclubs including Ancient World and has frequent involvement with Adelaide DNB promoters The Collective and bass event curators Wavecult. Amorositie has been featured by radio shows The Bassbin, Rollerz and The Ones and Twos on Fresh927 and on interstate group's Newy Bass Crew. In mid 2023, Amorositie joined The Ones and Twos, Adelaide's late night DNB show on Fresh927, as co-host alongside Bright Eyed and Uttersounds.

In 2024, Amorositie made her interstate debut at Esoteric Festival, and started her promoter project Wickid Lickwid, aiming to create space for Liquid Drum and Bass. She has since held several packed-out shows with local talent in Adelaide and hosted international producer Euphonique (UK).

Coming from a deep love of audio in all genres of the musical world my mixes encompass the chaotic energy that is my usual brain and life. I create soundscapes with intricate layering of melodic chords partnered with deep wobbly bass lines, or bouncy funky upbeat danceable journeys, often dissonant but somehow drawing to the ear.

Nearly always incapable of staying in a lane, I craft journeys of sound that lead one from a trance like wonder through to dark swampy atmospheres, filled with elements of emotion and raw instrumental and classical elements. I combine genres, bend the rules and blur the lines between dance and journey.

Slowly building a name amongst the NSW and broader East Coast Australian underground music scene. 

Playing events such as, Dragon Dreaming 24, Esoteric Festival 2024, Basscamp 22 & 23, Subsonic, Sub-Terra, Movement, Tribe Ascension, Airwaves, Origins Of Entropy, Void Of Entropy, plus a plethora of smaller local events and a resident DJ and Core Memebr of Newy Bass Crew performing with them at many events around the Newcastle region.

All of my early work will always remain on the profile, covering the journey I have made in my progression of mixing from terrible talentless beginnings to a very mildy more experienced DJ, with a greater sense of my own unique sound and direction.
