This song has such a great melody, who knew flipping Zelda's theme backwards would make something so good? It had it's challenges, mainly that it's in 3/4 and that makes it harder to slap but I think I managed! I chose instrumentation designed to be a balanced mix of symphonic and electronic to keep the original epic feel. I played around with tempos a lot this time around too which made for some dramatic effects. This game was great on the Wii, and this theme really stuck in my head since then. It was composed in 2005 when video game designer Soren Johnson, Tin's former roommate at Stanford, asked him to compose the theme song for Civilization IV and was sung by Ron Ragin and the Stanford Talisman. This has probably been one of my favorite songs to remix... it was just such a journey for me and I hope it will be for you too!

The Metroid series is fun to play and has such a unique soundtrack, with tons of ambience and distortion. I made this song sort of the with the mindset of "Hey, what if this song was the intro to Metroid Prime instead?" I think all this made me create something I never have before, and I'm excited to share it! Also i don't really know what genre this is xD

Anyway, I think I'm finally done with this album! Or am I...?
