"A Quiet Place: Day One" is the third film in the "A Quiet Place" franchise and finds "Pig" filmmaker Michael Sarnoski picking up directorial duties from franchise helmer John Krasinski. With the prequel setting the action in New York City on Day One of the Death Angels' arrival, Sarnoski takes us away from the family of the first two films and introduces us to new characters played by Academy Award-winner Lupita Nyong'o ("12 Years A Slave"), "Stranger Things" breakout star Joseph Quinn, and "Old's" Alex Wolff, with Djimon Hounsou reprising his role as Henri from "A Quiet Place Part II."
