Time for another instalment of some of my favourite rave tunes from the early 90s.  As always, it's a bit of a mixture of obvious and less obvious tracks to try and keep it interesting.  Vol 4 brings a lot of breakbeat tracks and this could have almost been Breaks 4, but it's more ravey, so Rave 4 it is.

Kyle Hall - Pieces To Share - Forget The Clock - FTC01

In 2007 my very good friend Damo B (Outta Limits) https://soundcloud.com/damo-b gently coaxed me out of semi retirement to come and visit him in the studio when he did his amazing, groundbreaking and trailblazing blast from da past radio show on Unity Radio. 
Id not done much radio just a few shows covering for the 808 State dj's in the early days of their Sunset Radio days when they had touring commitments but when Damo asked i accepted straight away. He wanted me to do a portmanteau of the various stages of my musical evolution, records i loved but never played out or records i loved and did play. The result is in the show starting with India "The Lover Who Rocks You" and ending with Earth People. The mix starts around 55 minutes in with the afore mentioned India track but i really urge you to listen to the whole show as he perfectly sets the mood before and we do a bit of a B2B session for the last 20 minutes. Here is the full show mistakes and all as we were live and it was late at night.
Damo is an incredibly hard working, creative  chap who does not get the credit/recognition he deserves and even today his various radio shows/ live performances are fabulous. 
This is the first time we actually worked together but it sure wont be the last.
This is a little time capsule of a time when people took chances and tried to create different atmospheres and push things on while embracing what had been before.

Stone Cold vintage mix from The Cookie Crew's DJ Dazzle on the ones' and two's. This exclusive never heard before mix has been archived from AJ's mix tapes. 
DJ Dazzle was one of South London's finest Scratch DJ's back in the 80's, hailing out of Lewisham and was DJ Mada, and DJ AJ's major influence outside of DJ Jazzy Jeff and DJ Cash Money. Dazzle won countless DJ awards back then and also toured alongside the Cookies European and American gigs.
