“The Journey” is our first ever three tracks EP
We started working on it during our last China Tour, in our hotel rooms and mostly in the various Starbucks of the cities where we stayed in for our shows (hence the name "The Journey"), and once back home we finalized it in the studio. 
We’re really happy to have inside this EP also a collaboration with the rising Trance talent and our producer friend from 🇺🇸￼ @Tenstepsofficial !

We called it "The Journey" not only for our last China Tour but also because this EP is an abstract musical journey into places inspired by antiquity and science fiction. The 1st track "Etruria" is inspired by the historical-geographical region of central Italy where the Etruscan civilization lived and prospered in the 9th century BC, located in an aerial that covered also a part of what are now our hometown in Tuscany; The 2nd track "Aegyptia", made it with Tensteps, is inspired by ancient Egypt coalesced around 3100 BC; the 3rd track "Agartha" is inspired by the fantasy place within the planet earth linked to the "hollow earth theory" and popular subject of esotericism, which was first described in 1800.

This EP means a lot to us, as it represents our style, a fusion of Big Room, Psy Trance, Hardstyle and Trance. These three tracks are the result of our continuous work on the search for something new and different, a style we are working on and which we are trying to perfect and improve day after day in the studio.

NGD Project is the brainchild of two talented Italians guys, Michael Gadani and Alberto Tavanti, who decided to join forces and create a musical project that goes far beyond just sound. With the name "Next Generation Djs" (NGD), it’s no coincidence that DJ MAG has dubbed them "The New Generation That Grows".

Over the years, their unique sound and musical vision have led them to release tracks with some of the biggest names in the industry, collaborating with world-renowned labels such as Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings, Armada Music, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s Smash The House, Universal Music, Ministry Of Sound, Laidback Luke’s Mixmash Records, Aly & Fila’s FSOE, Olly James’ Rave Room, to name just a few. Their repertoire spans Big Room Techno, Big Room, Electro House, Trance, Techno and Hard Dance, always maintaining a distinctive sound that blends energy and melody in a one-of-a-kind way.

One of the defining moments in NGD Project’s journey came in 2015, when they earned their first major support at the iconic Tomorrowland festival on the Mainstage with their track “Odyssey” released by Ministry Of Sound. This landmark performance was just the beginning of their rise on the global stage, seeing their tracks being played every year on the biggest festival stages worldwide, including Ultra Music Festival, EDC, Sensation, Parookaville, Transmission, Sunrise, and many more.

Their dedication and passion have taken them to the world’s best clubs and venues, bringing their electrifying energy and signature sound from Asia to Europe. In 2018, they made their intercontinental debut with a China tour, performing as special guests in some of the world’s Top 100 DJ Mag clubs, including Playhouse in Chengdu.

With a discography that boasts achievements like their EP "We Are", which hit the #1 spot in the Trance Top 100 on Beatport, and collaborations with artists such as Olly James, R3SPAWN, ShortRound, Christina Novelli, Bombs Away, as well as official remixes for iconic artists such Laidback Luke, MaRLo, HALIENE and many more, NGD Project’s music have amassed tens of millions of streams on Spotify over the years, solidifying their place as one of the leading acts in the global EDM scene. Their music is frequently topping the charts on platforms like Apple Music, iTunes, and Beatport, with several #1 rankings in international charts of several genres from Mainstage to Trance and Hard Dance. Their abilitys to blend diverse styles has earned them fans from all corners of the electronic music world, always pushing the boundaries of sound and innovation.

One of their most interesting and important projects comes for sure in 2024 when NGD Project released their exclusive samples and vocals AI pack "Voices Of Techno" on Revealed Recordings included in their elite section Revelead Recordings Artists Series. This collaboration with one of the most respected sound designers in the EDM scene, Alonso, has garnered massive praise from top artists such as Hardwell, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Justin Prime, Olly James, DJs From Mars, R3SPAWN, and many more, making a lasting impact on the global music scene and becoming a must have for every Techno and MainStage music producer.
