Nghi - Techno Set [Berliner Naechte 11 Nov 21]

I've had a passion for electronic dance music for over 15 years. I've been fickle, bouncing through house, trance, jungle and hardcore. However, there is one itch that I can never scratch...Disco, preferably French. 

I spent an enormous amount of time searching out interesting music, old and new, that makes me want to dance wherever I am.

I'll be putting together a weekly mix to share the music that I love. If I can make one hipster dance, it's all been worth it.

Nghi is a Vietnamese-German DJ and producer, born in Frankfurt and now based in Los Angeles. A graduate of TU Darmstadt with a degree in Electrical Engineering, he channels that precision into music-crafting sets that are immersive, emotional, and uniquely his own.

As co-founder of UKIYO, a grassroots collective that began with free DIY beach parties during Covid, he has helped grow a community that now gathers at underground spots from Lake Elsinore and the Dam to DTLA afterhours and Halloween events at Sunbeam Studios.

On the decks, Nghi is known for his aura, seamless transitions, and 3-deck mastery. His sets weave groovy and bouncy techno, melodic trance-like layers, and touches of house, hip hop, and R&B into stories that connect deeply with dancers. Over time, he has built a trusted fan base of warm-hearted, vibey dancers in LA
and through travels in Colombia, Germany, England, Mexico, Guatemala, and Vietnam, he is slowly building that community worldwide.
