We are thrilled here at Shores to re-visit Argentina-based artist Musty’s incredible “Aeris” EP from 2017, with two simply stunning new remixes from two of the Emergent family’s most revered names. 

Uk-based Skua and Slovakia-based brothers Mark & Lukas have both delivered jaw-dropping renditions of the melodic progressive masterpieces from the original EP. Skua has created a stirring, euphoric take on the title track “Aeris”, majoring on the infectious piano hook and divine chord progression, whilst adding rousing acoustic guitar work and gorgeous vocal shots. Mark & Lukas have similarly outdone themselves in their interpretation of the EP’s 2nd track “Warm Sunshine” creating a blissful version of the wonderful original, building a soothing tapestry of shimmering melody and emotion, topped off with their dazzling trademark piano work.

Reprising Musty’s amazing original release in remarkable style, this is Skua and Mark & Lukas with “Aeris” EP [The Remixes].

After almost a year, Summer Melody presents another collection of various remixes on the label with volume number 5!

After his debut with a 2021 favourite, the remix of Smart Wave's Melancoli3, Russia-based Aeolu5 returns with the first remix of the release, reworking on the deep cut Dirdal from Mekao. Provides a more rolling progressive vibe, the remix refreshes the original deep sensations into a club-favoured track full of movements.

Second remix of the release welcomes Norway-based Ruben Hadland back to the label, after the remix of Leonety's Call My Name. This remix of the Summer Melodies Vol.6 debut track by 2bnsn, delivers with a slightly beat heavy and more lively approach to the original of Imaginary Shores.

Last but definitely not least, ending the release we have Philippines-based Mark Kilaton on the remix of Gray-LAN's Horizon. Having a Summer Melodies debutant remixing another debutant's track would see the development of various uprising artists, this remix prolongs the original Horizon into a 10-minute multi-layered ascension, with his artisanal and unique touch, and a different view of melodic delivery.

2019 was a breakthrough year for Vintage & Morelli, as he not only dropped his acclaimed artist album ("Hymn To The Night"), but also headlined our Silk Music Showcase #500 Tour across six US cities this past summer. V&M's longtime friend and muse Arielle Maren proved to be a major contributor to "Hymn To The Night," with five official collaborations on the album.

One of their standout tracks together, "Lonely Shore," now receives the remix treatment from celebrated veteran duo Blood Groove & Kikis, as well as the legendary RNX (aka Robert Nickson), who co-produced the original version of the track. In the final analysis, all three versions of "Lonely Shore" offer unique arrangements that fall somewhere along the progressive electronic music spectrum, but the radiant melodies and ineffably affecting vocals of Arielle Maren shine through them all.

German mastermind Jan Martin has mentored a whole generation of melodic progressive style and he makes a classy return with his latest offering, 'Hold me down'.
From the slowly building atmosphere of the original with its intricate progressions, exquisite chords work and Jan's own vocals, this is another one for the books in its apparent simplistic beauty, exuding both warmth and melancholic power.
Completing the package are two different remixes from Japan's own Yusuke Teranishi, the first a vocal take on the original and the second his soon-to-be trademark 'Dawning' remix, excellent examples of melodic complexity and sun-drenched vibes, respectively.
Making an outstanding comeback, this is Jan Martin (with Yusuke Teranishi) and his romantic and bright 'Hold me down'.
