my favourite dancing shuffle songs

this is just a smal collection of Dj sets i played in different places. Depending on the location, event and time, my DJ sets vary. As with all DJs, they are subject to constant change. Mostly i play deep groovy and driving techno mixed with raps and other musical elements. The basic mood is positive, euphoric and makes happy people feel good. At the moment i mainly play sophisticated 2-4 hour techno sets between 135-145 BPM. But other variations happens as well. For example the Miami Sundown Set. The recording was the first hour of a 5h set which started during the sunset at the sea. The atmosphere was so intense that i start very chill. Hope you enjoy the sets.

Gomorrha is a Techno Dj and Organizer from Cologne, Germany. He is one of the founders and the creative head of Speedhunters Cologne. His unique way of design is not only present in his work for his Collective, but also showing in his Music and way of living. Gomorrah is mostly focused on dance and club orientated music like Hard Techno, Hardhouse, Schranz, Trance and more. For our Podcast Series Gomorrah tried to push his musical boundaries and created a one hour full on hard house, oldschool mix to get you flowing and dancing.

Techno at 140bpm and a dadaism inspired rap are the main ingredients of ’Sie Lacht Am Dach‘. The poem is performed by ENGL, an artist from South Tyrol who lives in Vienna and works mainly in the world of modular synthesizers.
His vocal lines are a driving force and a source of humour.

ME:
There is this longing that won't let me go. It almost tears my heart apart. Luckily we meet in dark techno halls or outdoor raves and the spark of optimism begins to fly. We travel for an evening, through a night and night after night with this strength and a lot of humour. That's what keeps me going. That's what the song is about. Looking down from above, seeing much, not understanding everything, turning on the music and dancing until my heart calms down to the fast beat. I am very happy to have met Engel because I needed someone who was on the same wavelength to hit the musical spot emotionally and lyrically.

Every year, I perform at a special event in Miami hosted by one of my best friends. Unique guests gather, enjoying views of the skyline, the city, the sunset, and the sea in Miami's warm winter. Surrounded by yachts, tropical birds, and great drinks, I've aimed to capture that energy and bring it back to the party through the music of my set. the recording is a 65 minute long outtake of my 5h set.

Speaking of ’Day After Exile‘, NHOAH gives his inside:
There are various places that can save you. They can be other countries, a club, or even a mental state where you take your break. I need this regularly; otherwise, I feel like I’m losing myself. When it starts, I try to quietly wander in, wait, and then there’s a bang, an enlightenment, and I’m thrown back into my world with a fresh perspective. This drive is captured in the track, ’Day After Exile’. I hope everyone gets the chance to take that time for themselves without having to be forced into it. Don’t wait too long.


Day After Exile

I got a 2h DJ set from friends in Miami that was recorded without my knowledge. A very nice surprise. It’s already two years old. Some tracks I might not play anymore, but it’s crazy, and I feel it. I sense the time and the drive, and I can still identify with it. I'm glad that a few years ago, I chose a type of music that is so sustainable for me that it seems inexhaustible in both the past and the future.
