A Wishing Well

The memory of a survivor (Mr. Sami Modiano) : in one night his meeting with his sister separated by a high-tension barbed wire; he wants to give her a present and throws her a piece of bread; she picks it up and then She threw a package to the Brother in which there was the slice of bread received from Him and His!... She makes the gesture of a hug even if it is not real because she can not hug him; after a few days  She disappeared...

Remembering all this is to make sure that it does not happen again, to make sure that all of us annihilate the winds of racism and religious fundamentalism that at this moment seem to blow on all over the world .

If you want to listen to this music, do it freely; for all my brief improvisation, on my left, this scene was always visible and real , two people in the night separated by a barbed wire and the gesture of a hug .... She will not stay there long , he will survive ...

Couleurs Changeantes

This is the piano track only of a piece I uploaded about a month or so ago. I was feeling rather melancholy that day knowing i was headed into another medical crisis to overcome, feeling very tired because it has been 20 years off overcoming one thing after another all from the same cause. But have my music and my writing to occupy the space in my brain and I can usually push the tiredness away and keep going. I  have too much that is yet incomplete. It is amazing what the brain can produce - the will to live and determination at the top that sees everything through. But the desire to help others is the main thing that gives my life value - to affect lives in a positive way. Thank you all for the encouragement you have given.  This is a wonderful bunch of people here at SoundCloud. Thank you all.

I Have Nothing Left To Give - Piano only

I composed this melody on the piano but I couldn't find a name for it. It was just a sad melody and... we have winter ❄️. Finally I called the composition "Winter Sadness".

Winter Sadness (Demo Version)

For this Christmas challenge I didn't want to play anything sweet and relaxing. Right now my mind is very focused on the frenzy of work that adds to the problems of the pandemic but also to the Christmas holidays that are coming. So my improvisation is for my mind a frantic awakening that sees me face a snowstorm on a sleigh pulled by horses used to this adventure. 
A sincere thanks and best wishes for a Happy Holidays to all of you and in particular to Simon Reich who organized the challenge.
