Jumping back into electronic music production and reverting back to my early college life in transition from playing metal shows to producing breaks in the early 90's when I snuck into raves in basements, backyards, and abandoned warehouses. I found the punk, rebellious, and hedonistic lifestyle I wanted in that scene instead of the metal scene I grew up in as the metal scene changed and became more mainstream. I got into sampling and drum machines primarily because of industrial music, a love my goth ex girlfriend and I shared, and eventually succumbed to the burgeoning underground dance culture of San Francisco in the early 90's.
