The proudest moments of Nic’s life have been his marriage and the births of three children.

Nic Bam wants the mentally ill to have an influential voice for advocacy and freedom of expression by focusing on his artistic intentions with; music, performance, brand culture, films, and non-profits; Nic continues to advocate for more resources as someone that has been diagnosed with; Borderline Personality Disorder, BiPolar Disorder, PTSD and Panic Disorder.

Nic was born in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. Currently a scholar, gentleman, emcee, entertainer, philanthropist, polymath, phonetician, producer, writer, and director (takes a breath.) 

He was raised in a family that was outcasted by their own because of his father’s immature actions and mental illnesses. A family rich with a history of accolades in art, botany, engineering and civil work, Nic had to watch the rest of his successful family from afar while struggling with the parenting provided; Nic began to write rap verses around 1996, looping beats to a cassette and then recording his vocals through headphones as a way to cope with his situation.

Nic Bam, the polymath, is a sigma male that creates music inspired by his life’s work in; Psychology, linguistics, music history, art history, alchemy, and esoteric or occult studies. The Belleville, Ontario Rapper/Producer has been an emcee since 2006 and his own producer and audio engineer since late 2019, only releasing a few EPs prior on other producers’ compositions, such as “Go To Work” produced by Gramatik, featuring Moka Only and D-Sisive and “F**K THAT” also produced by Gramatik, as well as a few unknown producers on the EPs.

Nic began his “on and off” profession as an artist in 2007 when managing and touring as an emcee/hype-man with artists like Moka Only, Illa J, and Tanya Morgan. Opening for many promenade artists plus many more touring since then, Nic has performed at more than 500 shows as a solo performer, in a group, or as a hype man. 

Nic’s approach to touring in 2007 before creating any music of his own has been unique to learning the discipline of songwriting, performance, crowd control, and adaptability on stage. In 2023 at 39, married with three children, Nic is done with the norm.  Nic is making music to enhance the musical experience with more than just a rapper on stage with a DJ. Nic’s going all in. This is a performance. Nic will show the world how to turn art into a stage show. The show is a performance of music, dance, theatre and, most importantly, audience inclusion. Mental Health Is Overlooked is a new single by Nic Bam about his doctor and how they got him addicted to Benzodiazepine. Nic has been fighting to be deprescribed for the last three years. The doctor essentially left him waiting in the rain for their nonsense tendencies. To remove himself from the Benzos as well as the other meds they have Nic on, he needs to be carefully monitored as Nic has a heart defect and can find himself in serious trouble if he were to try to taper off the meds himself. Nic Bam is a hostage of the Canadian Healthcare System and its partners, the pharmaceutical companies.
