Representing Bristol, DJ Stryda has 18 years experience uplifting the masses with his Sufferah's Choice radio show. He is also one half of the duo Dubkasm, who release top quality recordings on their Sufferah's Choice Recordings label. 

Always ramming out venues with his Teachings in Dub sessions, he is responsible for bringing many of the top sound systems and shows to Bristol. Favouring outdoor parties with heavyweight speaker stacks, Carrie knows how to read a floor, mash up a sound and doesn’t shy away from dropping a few crowd-pleasers along the way.

Carrie says,‘Women are so underrepresented in the New Zealand music, festival, DJ and reggae scenes. We've got to keep pushing for equal representation in line-ups and actively create more opportunities for women to play their styles out there.
