Based in London, Tutankhamun is the solo project of Olly Toomey. As he joined Nice Guys Records this year, the young artist was quickly noticed by BBC Radio, Wonderland Magazine as well as Mojo who often compared his sound to those of Tame Impala. After three first singles, he is now ready to reveal his very first eponymous album. The track ‘Garden’ perfectly encapsulates the overall vibe of this project: indie, rock, chill, psychedelic and quite nostalgic. Close your eyes and enjoy!

Tutankhamun is the solo project of British musician and songwriter Olly Toomey. He will soon release his first release, following influences from the 60’s and 70’s. His single ‘Big Foot’ is about feeling out of control and the abandon that comes with that. The riff, upbeat and soulful offers a reassuring contrast that will invite the listener into the artist’s universe made of jazzy basslines and enveloping choruses.

Discovered by BBC Introducing, Olly Toomey aka Tutankhamun is about to release his first album. The British multi-instrumentalist and singer gathered his inspirations ranging from Zig Zag to The Gautiers to create this long-player with a 70’s feel to it. ‘Sinnerman’ is the first song he wrote on the EP. It is quite a personal track in which the laidback verse opposes the more anthemic chorus. The dynamic drumming and hypnotizing riff created a melody that will comfort the sinner inside of all of us.

Den Dala’s new single “Carefree” is a real feel good groover song. It takes you to a place where you always have your sharpest glasses on and every movement is in unison with the beat. How could it be else, Carefree has everything a positive mind needs: a simple and catchy bassline, followed by melodic guitars, and topped off with a stunning synthesizer solo. Playing Ping Pong, jamming, drinking, and let your soul dangle is what inspired Den Dala to write this song. It developed in a time when there wasn’t much more to do anyways. This feeling of lightness and not caring too much about things is the essence of this mellow instrumental track.

Tati Falco is an Argentinian musician and singer from Cordoba, Argentina but now based in Lucca, Italy. After the release of his first EP last year, he has the sequel to it on the way which Estimados is extracted from. With its latin percussions and a heady chorus, Tati Falco offers the listener a warm musical experience, in between psyché pop and tropical rhythms. No need to understand Spanish to fall for his words and feel bliss pass over your head.
