How It Started is the debut single by Sky Days, some know him as artist and producer Jack O’Hea, and others, for his collaborative project Kirk Francis. 

Drawing on the likes of Dope Lemon, Empire of The Sun, and War On Drugs, How It Started embodies an aura of wandering stoicism through its tongue-in-cheek lyrics, interspersed by understated vocal harmonies. 

The use of glimmering guitar lines, suspended above a tight disco beat incorporates themes of nostalgia and the fleetingness of time, whilst lofty synths carry the tune progressively onward into the future.
