Established in 1993 TCR is acknowledged as the pioneering label for the much touted 'Nu Skool Breakz' scene & is run by original Rhythm Section member Rennie Pilgrem.

With a roster that includes such heavyweights as Rennie Pilgrem, B.L.I.M., Koma&Bones, Chris Carter, 2Sinners, Breakneck, Vigi, JDS, General Midi and Arthur Baker, TCR put out over  100 releases and is currently taking an extended holiday.

But fear not Rennie is making music again and is currently concentrating on albums. 

During lockdown Rennie made his first album for a decade ‘Movers & Shakers’ followed a year later by ‘This Is The Way’. A third album ‘I Got The Sound’ is finished and being mastered for a September release. All three albums have some of his signature breaks led club tracks but also explore his funk, dub and jazz influences.

As well as Bass Fuelled Funk Banger's, Classic Party Breaks to Ghetto Funk & other Funky Fresh Flavours...From across the funk spectrum with zero time to follow any rules or to stay in lane the music I often play is blended all within the same genre blurring set's with no limits, but to craft something different for people to not to just listen to but to have a real good time with with each listen.

Evan Shafran, also known professionally as EVeryman, is an American rapper, actor, comedian, DJ, and B-boy. He is recognized for his conscious lyricism, high-energy performances, and multidisciplinary contributions to music, theater, and film. Shafran is a member of SAG-AFTRA, Actors' Equity Association, and ASCAP.
Early Life and Education
Shafran was born in Portland, Maine, to Jeff and Theda Shafran, proprietors of Tommy’s Hardware and Scuba Diving shop. He began performing at age 7, encouraged by his mother, Theda, who passed away in 1997. His brother and best friend, Brad Shafran, is a dog lover and incredible yoga teacher in Maine. His Father still resides in Maine with his step-mother Dottie. 
Shafran graduated from Deering High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Theatre and Sociology from Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York, graduating summa cum laude. He later relocated to Los Angeles in 2008.
Career:
Music
As EVeryman, Shafran is known for his optimistic and socially conscious hip-hop. He co-founded the hip-hop group Little Giants with DJ/producer Pumpkin. He has performed at major festivals including Coachella, Burning Man, Shambhala, and Lightning in a Bottle, and has shared stages with artists such as Pretty Lights, Odesza, and Mark Farina. He currently runs the Independent Music Label, Little Giant Acorn Records.
Acting and Theater
Shafran's acting credits include appearances in films and television series such as Barbie, The Lincoln Lawyer, and Get Out. He starred in Storyteller, a short film that was a semifinalist for Best Dramatic Short at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival. He is also an associate producer with Mir Productions, a Brooklyn-based theater company, where he co-wrote and performed in plays including If There’s Jack in the Box Get Out and Hear NYC. 
Other Work
Shafran co-authored the children's book The Little Giant Acorn, available on Amazon.  He is active in advocating for social and environmental issues and promoting diversity and representation in media.
Personal Life
Shafran resides in Los Angeles, California, and maintains strong ties to his roots in Maine and New York City. He is an avid Star Wars fan and continues to engage with various facets of the performing arts. Peep his music mixes here:
