Ten years after that "Excerpts from the Past EP " by Rob Paine that included my first and primal remixes the label still diving looking for treasures into the deepness.  The list of explores that joined our project is so long that sometimes we think that we could just wake up in any moment...

This double pack is the second step of our celebration that started some months ago with that limited 10" called "The Capsule".  This compilation has taken as almost 2 years selecting music from so many artists.
We want to say thank to all the people involved in the project and also to all the artists that finally are not in the final tracklist. Just the selection took us more than a year just to listen on and on all the music that we had available. We really hope that those unselected songs will take form in future projects on the label.  Thank you to Antonio (our devil with the cam) for his incredible captures of our friendly octopus.  And thank you James from Juno Records for his eternal support to the project and the label in general.

Deep Explorer 029 Leo Gunn "Sea change EP" (part one)

Mallorca-based Satore started listening to soul, jazz, funk, disco, house, and techno under the influence of the American school from Detroit, Chicago, New York and San Francisco. He always paid special attention to Basic Channel’s dub, the deepness of Moritz von Oswald and Mark Ernestus’ beats, and at the same time identifies with American house and the new wave of European producers who came to the spotlight at the end of the 20th century. After graduating as a sound engineer, he focused on his own productions, creating sounds with drum machines, a sequencer and some synthesizers, working on several projects with other ambient and jazz musicians, with a special focus on dub and deep house. Satore’s productions have been released on labels such as Minuendo, Feelharmonic, Instabil, Avantroots, and Deep Explorer. In 2011 he founded his own label, Hizou Deep Rooted Music, releasing vinyl by artists such as DJ Aakmael, Rick Wade, Anton Zap, and Gari Romalis. Satore is a resident DJ at Garito Café in Palma, where he specializes in mixes of funk, disco and house, always on the lookout for new ways to enjoy sound.

Ernie, the Spanish international is located in Madrid and the labelhead of Minuendo Recordings which delivers some of the finest and unusual house tracks since 2004. He is a passionate dj and producer who really takes care of details not only when he’s producing or mixing. Minuendo Recordings is handnumbered, you had the chance to choose between different stamps you want on your record and much more.
