In the heart of Paris, during the vibrant musical era of the early 1980s, a group of avant-garde musicians gathered in a small, now-defunct studio. Among them was the enigmatic composer known as "Le Maître des Sons" (The Master of Sounds), whose identity remains shrouded in mystery. Together, they embarked on an ambitious project to fuse the sacred art of Gregorian chant with the cutting-edge technology of synthesizers and electronic music, creating a sound that was both ancient and futuristic.
"Ascension" is a transcendent track that transports listeners to a sacred space where ethereal vocals, sung in a constructed language inspired by Latin and Sanskrit, float like mist over a landscape of electronic pulses.
