This Fever Dream

A song I composed, wrote and sang in September of last year but then finished doing the best I can at mixing and mastering it just now. I hope to get all these older projects out and published first before working on my newer projects.

Tossing and turning. (x4) 
Every night I’m tossing and turning. (x2) 
I can’t pretend that it’s over.
Too addicted to being sober.
Reminiscence now is soaking up my eyes.
Like distant clouds floating in the skies.
Bad blood was going down and out, but water made it thin.
No bones about it now, it’s gone with the wind.
It’s rainwater under the bridge.
And I can smell the scent of the rains in the air, after the thunderstorm, heaaah, after the thunderstorm.

I can’t remember what it was like before.
Drops are coating everything that’s outside the door.
But now I have another way to go.
I’m bound to never have to lay low.
I’m scared to discover what’s next for me.
