Citizen Funk are Scherbe und his longtime friend Peter Clamat (who is also running Big Bait Records). Each year, they meet in the French region Alsace to jam along on their machines, moving back and forth between House, Hip Hop, Funk and Jazz.
Every track here breathes good vibes and a laid back attitude just in time for summer.

It’s gonna be summerly again in the Fauxpas Musik catalog and while it’s Tour De France at the moment, we’re releasing the album “Chapeau Rouge” by french artists Bruno Bourmendil aka Folamour. Four tracks taken from the album will be pressed on sunny yellow wax including a sunset-red innnersleeve, a Risograph printed inlay and a download-code for loading the entire album. The nice design concept was made by Alex Ketzer again. We’re looking forward to a warm and sunny summer 2015. Vinyl tastes better…
