Fervent advocate of the return of 90’s Deep and Garage House since 2008, Kicks (@kicks) is a well-established producer and DJ in the French scene since his first release on Cracki Records in 2013. Although having developed expertise in the soulful sound of the 90s and early 00s, Kicks keeps a close eye on current releases, including more techy ones, while maintaining his underground personality and the chord-rich tones that define his style. A clever blend of club and soulful elements taking the best from each generation which convinced labels like Rutilance, Joule (Janeret), and Ordinaire. His tracks are played by Djoko, Cinthie or Chris Stussy, the latter estimated his track Marvin as the best of 2020.

Sheffield’s own master craftsman and Robsoul mainstay V.I.C.A.R.I. returns with Flushing The Disk - a four-track EP bursting with floor-fuelled soul, funk-licked grooves, and that unmistakable Steel City finesse.
Once again showcasing his deep bag of tricks, V.I.C.A.R.I. delivers a high-grade pack of DJ-ready tools, each oozing with character and control. Opening with the lush and string-soaked Miles Behind You, the EP sets its emotional tone before diving headfirst into the playful shuffle of Hypnotise You, where those unmistable keys take centre stage.
Title cut Flushing The Disk drops the hammer with a gut-punching bassline and stripped-back swagger, while All My Love Again rounds things off by bringing sunshine to the floor with a guitar-led groovethat’s built for closing sets and heartfelt moments.
Simple in its construction, intricate in its delivery, V.I.C.A.R.I. continues to lead with his understated brilliance.

We're in the final furlong of our #fabricis16 preparations. The fancy dress has been delivered. The full line up is out and about and we're already bracing ourselves for the unique kind of hangover that our weekend of celebrations historically brings. To guide us into the party spirit the Bristol based selector and Cynic Music boss Felix Dickinson, who'll be joining us during the 30 hour stint, has laid out a set of some of cuts that he feels are going to set the night alight when we open our doors come Saturday night. With a history and, if we're honest, a bit of a legacy closely tied to spinning for enthusiastic and heady crowds, here in our intimate basement setting he'll be showing us just how many gems he's got in his crate while injecting a dose of funk into the party this weekend.

Nicholas Nothing is anything but nothing… playful, vibrant, and full of passion! He blends deep, soulful, jazzy, and classic house with fresh spunky grooves.

Drawing on his curiosity by exploring a wide range of styles, NN seeks out those lesser-known gems, new and old. He puts his all into every set; meticulously selecting tracks and effortlessly jumping between styles while breathing excitement onto the dancefloor. As a Toronto-based DJ, he’s played at the city’s favourite dance spots alongside the likes of Black Loops, Chaos In The CBD, and Chris Stussy. Internationally, he’s brought his signature sound to clubs and events in the United States, Sweden, and Indonesia. 

In the studio, he draws on inspiration from artists like Mr. G, Dam Swindle, and Frits Wentink, producing tracks that are drenched in soul and groove. His unique sampling style of vocals creates warm atmospheres, lush melodies, and raw rhythmic grooves. He’s deeply influenced by the connective and emotive qualities of nature and infuses earthy and soul-soothing vibes in his music. 

His debut single ‘Recognize’ has received support from Demuja and other local artists. He is running his ‘Rhythmic Roots’ day party event series which sold out for the inaugural party. NN has plans for upcoming gigs and new music released soon. Nicholas Nothing is only just getting started!
