Introducing... T-Connection! They were a groovy bunch from the Bahamas. Now with added beats 'n' bass, this feel-good phunk-a-thon cooks from the moment the needle hits the cut. Wait for the chorus!

According to the instructions, it's best played at 33 1/3 RPM. For those who DJ using laptops, what this means is that you have to spin around in circles 33 1/3 times while you play the track. 

Sounds easy, right? But there's a catch...

You have to do this in multiples of 3 (i.e. 3, 6 or even 9 times!). If you don't, the maths won't add up and you won't achieve a full rotation. You may find this disorientating and find you can't walk in straight lines. If this should happen, please consult your spin doctor. Or local roundabout consult.

Adding to his impressive discogs listing, The Silver Rider has a forthcoming release on Lovedancing titled "Farm to Tables." Very on theme, Davey! This stellar record drops on October 26th and I can't wait to get my hands on it!

"All I Do" is a wonderful piece of disco house. Approachable with it's 4-4 and claps, the brightness is augmented by the relative simplicity of the production. The lack of unnecessary features allows for us listeners to pay attention to and fall in love with the beautiful, dreamy vocal samples used throughout. As the track takes full form with a tinge of winds and strings, it instills a glorious dreamlike stupor.

Brooklyn based, DJ Monchan, steps up to perform some surgical edit wizardy on four mouth-watering tracks for the ever-dependable Razor-N-Tape. 'Reaction Control' kicks things off with a joyous disco gem extending and echoing those killer groovers to create a whirlwind of dancefloor delight.

Ltd, W/Lbl is a label based out Berlin that specializes in sophisticated, Classical, Jazz and Ethnic oriented electronic music. Since 2017 they have been putting out two vinyl series - one that features re-issues from previously released tracks and another that showcases all newly released work. Today's post involves the latter and includes an original from up and coming artist Alberto De Santiago, better known as Never Dull.

Based out of Los Angeles, Never Dull has been on the scene for only about a year now but has already released work for labels such as Feedasoul, Dansu Discs, and Hopera Records. In his latest effort titled Cool Jazz Boogie, Never Dull manages to pair sultry Spanish vocals along with a groovy assortment of languid synths and gently plucked guitar strings. In that sense, the title of the song is fairly straightforward in describing the vibe it creates and will certainly play well where ever lounging and relaxation is the prerogative.
