The dynamic duo is back! All Good Funk Alliance return to Super Hi-Fi Recordings with Let’s Execute, a four-song EP filled to the brim with prime time funkiness. The Alliance — comprised of Frank Cueto and Rusty Belicek — have delivered their brand of tightly produced electronic jams for over 20 years and Let’s Execute is another essential piece in their funky equation.

The title track sets things off with potent mid-tempo breakbeats and silky synth action. Enter the formidable voice of Big Stuff whose Big Daddy Kane-style flow connects the old and new schools. Paying homage to their DC-locale, the Funk Alliance next deliver “Control Your Roll” which is anchored in swinging go-go style rhythms. Black Masala adds some serious horns, creating a cool call-and-response with the synth lines and the overall groove. Vocalists Heidi Martin and the late Mustafa Akbar join the Alliance on “To The People,” a soulful cut with an uplifting, positive message — much needed in these times. The more up-tempo, four-on-the-floor “That Chord” closes out the EP, ending things on a stylish rush-to-the-dancefloor tip. Top jams successfully executed!

After releasing the second EP by the Funkin Basstards we though it would be appropriate to follow up with a remix EP of the 4 originals jams from the Drop The Mirrorball EP.To do that in style we hooked up with some of the best producers in the scene to all put their personal twist on these catchy disco bangers.
Starting this off with the label head honcho BadboE who comes heavily armed with the nu skool breaks and some silky smooth disco grooves for the Feel The Vibe track. A classic BadboE treatment with multiple sections of grooves to bring out the very best of the sweet vocals by Sofia Kamina.
To follow this up we&rsquo;ve turned to the true veteran from the funky breaks scene that can do no wrong when it comes to remixing. Jayl Funk is at it again with some well-arranged nu disco flavors to skillfully transform the lead track 2000 feat. Sofia Kamina into a smashing Jayl Funk anthem.
If you want the unspoiled breakbeat funk there is only one remixer to call for: Pecoe. He done a number on the originally mellow Drop The Mirrorball and turned it into a dancefloor breakbeat banger!
Last but not lease we wanted to turn up the heat a bit and invited the Sons of Satin to do some uptempo hardcore breaks remix of the Soul Disco jam.

Mr Stabalina is a happy man and it’s infectious. He only seems to make good-time music that causes immediate engorgement and big cheesy grins. RSW was one of those bands I was first turned unto in the Industrial age, kids this is before raves when clubs played stuff like The Cure, Joy Division and "Biting My Nails" was one of those songs they would play. Anyway, I loved "Biting My Nails" and soon was buying cassettes from RSW and eventually ran into the "In Dub" album. My DJ friend Greg Om turned me unto this album and I loved the stripped down versions and the break-beats. It was truly influential into me making breaks later. For my Re-Jam, I cut it up a bit, added more drums and flipped it to fit my LNW style a bit. Hope you dig it.
