Physicalz was originally founded in January 2002. They are a three headed Drum & Bass Crew living in Basel (Switzerland). Two DJs D Fab J (Fabian Burkhalter) & Inspectra (Süleyman Simsek) (both DJing sice 1998) and one singer Anna (Anna Ragusa) are the members. 
In earlier days D Fab J & Inspectra  started to promote several event series with national and international bookings in smaller and bigger clubs in Basel. Today it is one of Basels biggest Drum & Bass nights (Urban Bass) which they promote, located in the venue Kaserne (Basel). Bookings like Logistics, Nu:Tone, Stamina MC, John B, Netsky, Marcus Intalex & DRS, Jenna G & Kabuki, Calyx & Teebee, Shy FX and many more are the result of a very well working corporation with the venue.
Towards 2003 D Fab J & Inspectra started to produce soulful, liquid, deep and rolling Drum & Bass music influenced by several styles of music (Funk, Jazz, Dub, House, Classic, etc.) and different producers. All in all three vinyl releases and one CD album release were the output of Fabulous Recordings, the music label of Physicalz. And there are still a lot of tracks unheared and to be produced for the future.
In 2005 it was time to expand their musical horizon by managing and hosting a radio show called Density on the best local radio station, Radio X. Until today the aim is to promote and look for younger local or national Drum & Bass DJs in order to build up the Basel Drum & Bass DJ Scene.
The biggest "physicalistic" moment was to play in England @ the famous Spoonfed Event of Nu:Tone, Logistics and Commix.
So there should be some big rumours about the crew promoting some epic events, hosting many inspiring radio shows and kicking and releasing some heavy tunes in the near future! This has happened in 2012 when Physicalz released their first EP on Beatalistics Records. So watch out for the Physicalz!
