My imagination was running wild on the night I recorded this mix.  I had a little help from my old friend Molly.  She insisted that I keep things loose, and improvisational so I listened to her forever sacred wisdom, and boy was I happy with the results.  

Listening back to this mix later on I realized that it would be a great set to hear at a party as things moved into the early morning hours - hence the 4:20 a.m. title.  As 420 was upon us yesterday I figured it would fitting to share it with you all today.

Berlin Techno DJ Set

Okay, okay. Quick history backstory.  Drums as a child, and through his 20's.  Turntables, and loads of vinyl before entering the digital realm.  Nick has been busy with all that noise for two and half decades.  Growing up on rock, grunge, 90's electronic, hip hop, and everything in between rounded out his senses for music, and what appealed to him.  A taste ever evolving leaving him playing house, techno, minimal, acid, downtempo, and breakbeat.  Now with over 20 years of experience you can expect great track selection, crowd reading, and flawless mixing.  This journey has seen him play in cities through Western Canada, and with larger acts from abroad including the likes of Mark Farina, Tipper, Kevin Yost, James Teej, Pezzner, Dirt Crew, Detroit Swindle, Noah Pred, Rob Paine, and many more.  

After spending many years as a key part of Left Coast Crew in Victoria BC as a DJ/Promoter, he is back In Saskatchewan where he started this journey. The new vision is to rekindle his old connections and push his promotion brand The Motive To Move (TM2) to new heights, and entertain as many party people as possible.

 True underground representation always in mind!
