‘Rhythm Distrikt 14’ has landed and it’s harder and tougher than ever! Filled with 100% brand new and exclusive music, there’s something for every  RD lover and Techno fans alike. Kicking off the package is Rhythm Distrikt favourite Christian Cambas. His hard-hitting ‘Initiate’ offers the perfect combination of heavy synth stabs, a resounding bassline and driving drums. Next up, we welcome back Ant Brooks to the label with his haunting dark masterpiece ‘Nitrous’. Vlada Asanin makes his Rhythm Distrikt debut with the purpose built, peak time roller ‘Claustrophobic’, followed by a collab from the two very talented producers; Dino Maggiorana & Agent Orange with ‘Brooklyn’. Other highlights include Egoism’s hooky ‘Capital’, The Reactivitz’ enchanting ‘Tell Me’ and Joe Mesmar’s atmospheric ‘Discipline’ with Optimuss, Joe Red and Stefano Pini completing the package; another great addition to the series and one not to be missed!

This is PAGANO 14th official mixed compilation and his 5th for Matinée's massive CIRCUIT Festival. Showcasing Pagano's signatures style of groovy Tech House and Techno, this DJ Mix represents the more underground side of this huge festival taking place every August in Barcelona, Spain. 

Pagano has carefully selected music from his favourite artists including tracks and remixes from CARL COX, RUSSELL SMALL, ALAN FITZPATRICK, WEISS, TODD TERRY, AGENT ORANGE, FILTERHEADZ, MAURO PICOTTO, SONIQUE, SKOBER, PHUTEK, GARY BURROWS, DAVE SINNER and many others.

Ziger’s Eat My Hat imprint returns welcoming Kenan Savrun to the label for his debut single. Hailing from Ankara, the Turkish artist has a long history as a DJ dating back to 2003, having shared the booth with Alex Niggemann, Eli & Fur, Andy Bros, Victor Ruiz and Oliver Huntemann. Upon releasing his first productions in September of last year, Kenan has since gone to showcase his music on 3rd Avenue, Soundteller Records, Stripped Digital and Stellar Fountain’s Astrowave. Now embarking on the most anticipated release of his career, Kenan makes his Eat My Hat debut with ‘Shivaya’ alongside remixes from Ziger & Simos Tagias.

Having already developed a uniquely mystical sound, Kenan has been hotly tipped as one of the progressive scene’s brightest new talents. That sentiment will surely grow with  ‘Shivaya’ delivering on a profound level. Built on a backbone of tough beats and a full, perfectly carved groove, the peak time sensibility is high from the outset. Tranquil yet energetic, it’s pulsating arps and percussive flurries add dynamic splashes as momentum builds. The narrative shifts during the break with a cross cultural vocal taking centrestage, bringing moments of soul and emotion, before a timely drop transfers energy into an exhilarating finale. 

The first interpretation of ‘Shivaya’ is provided by Eat My Hat label boss Ziger. The Greek artist has had a tremendous summer season led by his ‘Faded Realm’ single which enjoyed a month long stay a top Beatport’s Progressive House Hype tracks chart. Add to that a Beatport Top 5 for his remix of Nosh & SJ’s ‘17:17’ also coming courtesy of Eat My Hat. Also laying claim to 2019 releases on Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music and Eleatics Records, Ziger now lands back on his comfortable home of Eat My Hat with a superb rendition of ‘Shivaya’. Taking a cue from the original, the energy proves to be just as palpable here. A reworked groove ripples with powerful momentum as vocal fragments and dark stabs steal the air. Stripping down into the main break, wispy atmospherics add further intrigue before broken beats and a robust roll ignite a massive third act. 

The release concludes with Simos Tagias making his label debut and providing the second and final interpretation of ‘Shivaya’. The Greek artist has been one of his country’s brightest stars in progressive house with a discography that features releases on Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music, Movement Recordings, Proton Music and Sound Avenue. Now fresh off an EP for D-Formation’s Beatfreak Recordings, Simos debuts on Eat My Hat with a superb interpretation of ‘Shivaya’. Opting for a tough, more techno inspired approach the Athens resident focuses on electric rhythms and pulsating designs, for a perfectly dialled peak time affair. The main break showcases a cascading motif, although indistinct it's emotive appeal is strong, building in waves before the final act unleashes the full vocal for an epic finale. A massive remix from Simos which caps off another incredible release for Ziger’s Eat My Hat Music. Highly recommended.

Since he was a kid, Nick Kayne is in love with musique. He grew up with new wave and cold wave till the 90’s when he discover electronic music. After many years of clubbing in Paris and in England, he becomes a dj at 30 year old and falls in love with progressive house. After spending a few years playing in clubs and bars in Nantes, he creates his own dj crew andstart promoting his own parties, Do you wanna F… at least Castel in Nantes. At the same time he releases his own tracks for different music labels like Sun recording, Timini records and Elettrika recording.
He is opening his mind on music he plays from melodic techno to techno through progressive house (still and always).
There he starts deejaying in the south of France and Paris but also in London and Brussels where he becomes resident for background after party.
Thanks to a foolproof music culture, he’s been making bars and clubs dancing for almost 20 years.
The most important for him : playing tracks full of soul and emotion. His goal : taking on a trip through music.
