Susy is a Welsh singer songwriter, now based in the Black Country near Birmingham. She draws upon the everyday for her inspiration when writing, focusing on melodic vocal lines accompanied with simple guitar or piano as a backdrop for her voice. Susy is constantly inspired by many artists, old and new and is currently working on a variety of interesting projects, both solo and collaborative. The first of these was the release of her debut EP, Home is the Colour, out in September 2023, closely followed by her Winter EP in November, All Wrapped Up. Her debut album, The Spaces In Between, was released on September 27th 2024 and has been played on several radio stations including the Folk Show with Mark Radcliffe on BBC Radio 2 and the Welsh A List on BBC Radio Wales. It was also the featured album on  Iain Anderson’s show on BbC Radio Scotland.

   I have been writing songs since I was about 10 years old, maybe even a bit longer as I can recall being younger than that and strumming a toy guitar and singing some sort of melody. I can play the keys a little bit and that’s where I write my songs at the keyboard, because I don’t have a band behind me, at the moment songs are recorded using keyboard presets as backing music with me singing over into my iPad. 
  I’m in the process of changing my setup and will soon start using a laptop and a keyboard to make hopefully a more unique sound, at least I hope more professional.
  I hope that you enjoy my music, that’s why I make it, because I enjoy it and I want other people to as well.

The Farsiders were formed under the moniker of Mrs O'Learys Cow, The Mavericks, or The Dumb Angels, and have been performing and releasing music since the days of home recording on cassettes. It's now time to enter the digital world. Warrington based troubadours / multi instrumentalists, Richard Boast (vocals/ backing vocals, guitars, piano, organ, ukulele, drums, percussion) and Nicholas McCarthy (bass, backing vocals/ vocals, guitar, piano, harmonica, backing vocals, vocals, drums) write and perform all the tracks. ‘A long time passing’ is their third album and first official release. It was recorded between October 2018 and March 2019 and released 4th June 2019. About 25 years since their first school/college projects. Their third album takes in many of their influences, the Beach Boys in particular, and early indie pop, to create a gentle and smooth sound, with beautifully crafted songs about love, life, loss and locality.
